Found out that if your cell has too many parts on it the cell get's cut off. I am not sure if this is a known bug so I apologise if this has been addressed already. If you would like I can give you a picture or screenshot.

Happens to me too, it appears to me that the current membrane is not completly covering ( I discovered this when trying to build a tail of mithocondria ) and the current model still has some glitches, if you create a engulfer cell, like we did in hexagon era, the game either does 3 things: 1. It fills the hole with a glitched membrane. 2. It creates a streched membrane over the hole, tough it works the same way as before ( you can still trap things in the hole ) 3. the game crashes ( not very often, and it may be because of other things. ) Here is a screenshot of both bugs: spoiler/ i.imgur.com/gMTr8yh.jpgi.imgur.com/1Pn3Lun.jpg\spoiler

This is because the membrane works by drawing a large square around the cell and making each edge section move inward until it hits an organelle, effectively shrink-wrapping it. The square is smaller than the maximum possible cell size though, which means it will glitch when trying to cover cells with organelles far from the centre (according to TheCreator this can be easily fixed by making the square bigger).
