I lose ATP rapidly after consuming a cell. The ATP will rise slowly then rapidly decrease. Also all the compounds reset to zero, so that might be the problem.

Yes, having no compounds is indeed a problem. However, you shouldn't be losing all of your compounds after engulfing. Did you have a large amount of oxygen and glucose beforehand?

I'm unsure, I will go back into the game and see if that is the case.

I took a look and it seems that I would need plenty of oxygen and glucose to stay alive, but when I run out of one of those resources ATP starts to rapidly decline until death. Also the movement speed decreases dramatically, but that's probally because of the new mass that was acquired. What I would do is that when the cell consumes another cell the player also recieves other compounds so that if they eat a cell they don't get a nasty surprise. Also this feature should be implemented into the tutorial if possible.

Movement speed decreases because you're still in engulfment mode. Press g again to get out of engulfment mode. ATP rapidly declines because you're using it to move, and engulfment mode greatly increases consumption. It's probably best to stay topped up as best as you possibly can on oxygen and glucose so that you have a constant ATP production. The player receives whatever the cell had before death, whether it be glucose, carbon dioxide, oxygen, etc. I do agree that engulfment should be in the tutorial so that we don't get mass confusion about it.

I'd like you to know this is highly frowned upoon by the mods, unless you have a very clear reason to do so. Unless it's an urgent/really important matter, or it has been a few months since your last post, we prefer it if you just edit your post using the gear in the top right corner. Thanks in advance.

wait i'm double posting? I only see one post on my side. Or do I not make another quick reply but edit the post like you said?

No quick replies. One post. Or two posts, if you're asking what we see. I am confused now. A. H.

It says [object Object] as a first post here, then your question, similar to how the thread started. This is weird

maybe if someone knows the code, they can give me a tutorial to see if something is wrong via client.

Wish I could, but I'm getting help from oliveriver on the matter.

Alright I found out why I was losing ATP too quickly, I didn't know I had to press G again. Would've been nice if the tutorial advised the player to check out the help option when pressing esc.
