So I found these two games about Natural Selection/Evolution. Originally I thought they would just be stupid things that I would just play once and never pick up again because they were painful. I was wrong. These are incredibly addicting for some reason, and I wanted to share my problem with everyone else xD I'm not sure what the mechanics are in terms of coding and stuff, but I'm sure someone will be able to figure that one out eventually. But here are the two games: Charles Darwin's Game Of Survival - a bit silly, but fairly fun too. You pick 3 little creatures of the same species, all with different traits. You have 2 "life preservers," where you can pause the game and add another individual with a new Genetic Mutation, in order to boost the population. There are a few different situations your little puffs have to overcome, and the goal is to live 1,000 years. Natural Selection - You have 3 bird species that you get to customize. The three options are Beak Size/Curvature, Plumage Color, and Body Size. Once you have all three birds, you send them out into a landscape and see how they evolve. Then, a hurricane blows into the area and knocks some of your birds into new places (you get to customize one region, all while the other two are randomized). At the end of the game, you get to compare your original birds to the birds that survived to present-day. I'd really like to try more games like these, so if you have any suggestions for evolution/natural selection games, I'd be eternally grateful!! :0
