all i want in space stage is to make my own death star
these death machines should be made from scratch regireing careful thinking to pin point any weaknes in the machine then you have to find some place to hide its construction to avoid sparking a war to early.plus they have to have a extremy long build time to avoid exploits, and finaly would actully be keeping it protected from other empires

Hmm, well, for starters we're only letting the player faff about in one galaxy at a time; so I'm afraid intergalactic death machines are off the table.
However, if gravity-warping FTL drives are possible, then gravity-warping planet busters are also. Can you imagine what would happen if an alcubierre drive crashed into a planet? Hint, it's not pretty.

Moopli Explosions or no? I am not sure what those are. Please explain. Do they crush the planet together or something that would be cool.

Wouldn't it be like getting beyond the event horizon of a black hole and getting pulled back in a fraction of a second? The tidal forces would probably fluctuate extremely rapidly and rip anything nearby apart on a sub-atomic level.

Wait, gravity? Is Alcubierre the guy with the negative energy drive that would contract space in front and expand it in back?
So would the planet briefly implode and then rapidly explode into fundamental particles? Or do I have the wrong thing? I don't physics.

One of my teachers told me that if the Alcubierre drive were evere built, it would be catastrophic. From what I understand the Alcubierre drive keeps the spacecraft inside of a bubble where everything is normal, while it bends space around it. He said that would include all the little dust particles floating around the ship at the time of activation. I don't exactly remember what he said but I think it was that those dust particles would be shot forwards at extremely high velocities and could potentially decimate whatever celestial body happens to be in the way.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.
