I'm not sure if this is already in the works, but what if your microbe were to "eat" another one to gain its organelles? If yes, would you like to make it hard to achieve or have negative side effects to balance gameplay? Opinions please.

Last time I checked the wiki, the plan I saw was for endosymbiosis to be used for assimilation of mitochondria and chloroplasts (and chemoplasts/thermoplasts?) just as is speculated for LAWK. I believe that the chance of successful asssimilation is fairly small.
