Another note: Adding another enzyme specialization costs 10 MP, and you can only specialize in two. Edit: Aquos I haven't added vertebra as an option yet. You're going to have to unlock it by finding a creature with one. i think he meant spines

I vote for growing a tail and sampling a Twerpi too.

After that meal, you stop again. You look at yourself splitting down the middle. A glance to your left reveals another eye looking back at you. When it's over, you feel something new growing out of your back. Twisting to look at it, you find that you can not only control it, but use it to swim. Your twin swims over to a splotch of algae, leaving you to decide on your options.
You have 1/3 health.
You have 1/3 stomach.
You have 4 MP.

Eat algae, get thicker skin. Those are my votes.
I am losing track of what we are, so correct me if I'm wrong:
We have: mouth, eyes, tail, plant enzymes Available are: Thick skin (4MP), Spikes (6MP), Greater Mass (4MP)
Thanks mitobox!

I think we should just eat algae. I don't think we can take another hit on health from evolving. I agree to do that after we eat some algae though.

Exactly, we're eating first and then evolving

Experimenting with your new mode of movement, you swim over to a promising splotch. You nibble at the stuff (+4 MP), and, once again, have replaced your previous mass.
Beyond this minuscule patch of sand and algae, the open ocean turns, and the rocks stand tall. Who knows where you could go, now that you can swim?
You have 3/3 health.
You have 3/3 stomach.
You have 8 MP.

Let us...avoid the open ocean at all costs! That place is a food desert, and we should work towards land.
I vote to stay at shore, eat algae, and save up two more points so we can go omnivore. Then we go anomalocaris on this shore line!

You decide that going anywhere where you can't see the bottom is probably a recipe for disaster.
Unfortunately, the Doofapples are making short work of this patch. The remaining algae will probably take a while to recover to levels suitable for a creature your size (although the Twerpi are hardly complaining). Furthermore, the lack of new creatures within viewing range means that you won't be able to get new mutations. Fortunately, the rocks might have some new creatures, as well as a safe view, not to mention more food. The same could be said for swimming away from the seafloor, but your plans make that a last resort.
You have 3/3 health.
You have 3/3 stomach.
You have 8 MP.

We should do greater mass x2 and begin eating doofapples

We should do greater mass x2 and begin eating doofapples They're three times your size, not to mention those nasty spines. Increasing size takes more and more MP each time, and you don't have any weapons that can get past the spines. Furthermore, their thickened skin makes nibbling them to death impossible; you need to unlock jaws and teeth first. That, however, involves finding a creature that has them.
