Well, actualy I do aggree with you unfertilised or very young Eggs would be more logicaly used as weels. A so big egg propably needs some time to become "ripe". So maybee the creatures would carry it arround while its verry young and the shell still hard and not-so-brittle, and some time just before hatching it would be left beheind in a protected place. This would minimise the time predators would have to find an devour the eggs before hatching. (I'm assuming the creatures are big as cows, so they have to migrate searching for food and subsequently couldn't hang arround to protect their offspring)

So it functions similar to how a train turns its wheels?

Basically. Trains, bicycle wheels, etc. There are two large muscles that contract in a rhythmic manner, with 6 smaller ones that tell the wheel which way to actually turn.
That is also a very nice gif.

Oh great glad you are enjoying it. Yeah we are working on getting a tutorial together which should help a bit with some of the complexity. It is a hard game to dive into. I agree completely that there needs to be a clear relationship between the compounds and the organelles, as they are all related. Thanks for the feedback. I am most looking forward to playing as a bird. I love the idea of just peacefully wheeling around an alien planet, looking at all the other crazy creatures from high above where they can't hurt me. I too am looking forward to peacefully wheeling around the planet

I'm not an engineer nor have I ever been to college (I'm just a high school freshman), but I know my fair share about ALL types of engineering. If you could get muscles to power a crankshaft you could theoretically get wheels on an organism. The only issue is how it would be used and how it would evolve. The only environments I could think of that would have benefits for a wheel would be VERY flat plains and salt flats. In salt flats, having wheel would be absolutely perfect. Wheels would be much faster than any creature with legs.
