A while back, a new, free-for-all-to-edit wiki was made for Thrive for the fans to be able to edit. thrive.wikia.com/wiki/Thrive_WikiThe original intent of the wiki was for it to cover only what is currently in the game or planned for the next release, and not speculation for the future stages (as opposed to the other wiki we have). It did this job pretty well for a while, and had some good pages with pictures and diagrams regarding the Microbe Stage, but then sometime recently people went completely against that and started posting pages on concepts from all the stages of the game. Now I'm even seeing pages on concepts that were never even discussed. I personally think the wiki should be kept for current or upcoming features of the game, but since it's a community wiki I was interested to hear what you guys thought. Should we keep it as what I mentioned? Should we post gameplay and concept on it? Do you have another idea on what it should be like?

I'd like it to be about current & upcoming features, but wouldn't that lead to the Community Wiki being controlled by the devs rather than the community?

Not at all. It just means fans will have to make sure to weed out irrelevant pages other people add.

I suppose.

I think it is unnecessary. People might get confused seeing concepts that aren't even official, but take it as being so. People are already giving ideas on the forum either way.
Also, given my experience with a lot of Wikia sites, they tend to spur out of control rather quickly without a very dedicated administration.
