Due to the recent bot attacks, I've decided to make a sort of archive for all bot incidents. In this thread you can post screenshots of the bots and their actions. You are also welcome to discuss the content. Perhaps from all this documentation we will find some sort of pattern. If not, we at least have some sort of museum of the bot. I made a few screenshots from the recent incident, but I did that whilst in class. So I haven't been able to make as many as I hoped. I also made them later than ideal, because the idea for this thread only occurred to me later. I can only post 3 per post, so I'll need to post a few extra posts after this one. Attachments:

That's about it for the Triplebot attack of 21-11-2017. The largest bot attack at time of writing. As I said, feel free to post pictures of a incident in this thread, the earlier the better.

Actually, it was a triple bot attack. The 21st November 2017 shall go down as the largest bot attack in this server.

I don't know if it's possible, but could we set up limit to how many threads somebody can make in one day?
Say if we were only allowed to make 5 threads a day, then the damage a bot could do would be relatively minimal. I don't think the average user needs to create 5 threads in one day. Unless of course the making of threads is seen the same as making a post. In that case it would probably be a bad idea.

I don't know if proboards has that as an option, but if it does it requires a higher rank than the one i have. The forum admins would know better (whoever they are)

I asked Oliver and NickTheNick about this. Sadly, it seems like that is not possible with Proboards. I don't really know what we can do further against the bots.

Does Proboards legitimately not have an "I'm not a robot" checkbox or something?
