Nothing we can't handle.
Vote: scavenge what we can from the valley, afterwards we will go back to the east. We must be persistent.

Vote: Settle permanent camp to aid in survival. I would like to note, that just as in other forum games of this nature, provided you don't vote to migrate, your people will generally stay in the same area. Provided something disastrous doesn't happen, of course. So feel free to change your vote to something different from specifically settling down.

Vote: Try to search for the rodents' natural predator and capture it. The captured animals will be used to scare off the rodents, and also act as familiars.

But, But, you put a ; THATS IMPOSSIBLE It was a typo. I'm too lazy to change it, and I honestly don't see why it matters that much (no offense).

I guess I'll join the wait list - I don't have much hope in getting past it, however.
Question: Why is this forum game called "Lords of the Ring"?

Round 2 Fern ( serialkillerš“) Vote: Go East (4) Outcome: The elders who wish to go onward do their best to convince those who insist otherwise, but itās no use. Those who wish to go back immediately split off from your group and head back towards the home valley, taking the supplies they had with them. Your group presses on, and eventually make their way to the other side, though not before incurring the wrath of animals resembling horse-sized birds with toothed beaks and sharp horns on the tips of those beaks. They swoop down to pluck away your people and toss them from the mountain trails, feeding on their broken bodies. Food is low once you manage to get away from them, and morale is even lower, but you have survived. Stability: -2 Power: 1 Yirha ( aviscerator) Vote: Capture and tame the rodentsā natural predators (17) Outcome: Deciding to do something about the rodent problem, your hunters decide to look for what preys on the rodents that insist on plundering your stores. What they find are what appear to be colonies of insects that are the size of an Augrela palm, the most common of which have six legs and two large mandibles with an irritating venom. Your hunters manage to entice some of these arthropods to set up colonies around your bandās stores, and they keep the rodents away. They donāt seem interested in the fruits your band gathers. No longer having to worry about your supplies being raided, your band is prospering and growing in number. Stability: 2 Power: 1 Kathak ( blackink) Vote: Create boar hunting spears (1) Outcome: Your craftsmen create some prototypes for spears that might be able to be used against the porcine creatures, but before they can be properly tested, some of your younger and more impetuous hunters make off with them and try to use them. Instead of piercing the beastsā hides, the spears shatter in their hands and anger the animals, leaving the hunters to be bitten and torn apart. The disappearance of the hunters has saddened your people, with some families and individuals expressing a strong desire to return to the home valley, with some others parroting their sentiment. Stability: -2 Power: 1 Tuuk ( QuantumCrab of '18) Vote: Begin cultivation of the energy-rich nuts (7) Outcome: Your gatherers attempt to cultivate more of the nuts, but their makeshift attempts at increasing the amount of nuts produced is met with failure. However, they have proven able to actually cultivate these nuts in small, but stable numbers. This isnāt much use to your band in their still nomadic lifestyle, but it could lead to good things if they stayed in one place more often. Stability: 2 Power: 1 Thaku ( oncpapa) Vote: Develop improved housing with a focus on straw huts (7) Outcome: Your people experiment with the construction of more permanent lean-tos and even some simple huts made of grass, but the structures prove unstable and some collapses have resulted in close calls, but thankfully no fatalities nor serious injuries. Stability: 2 Power: 1 Yslach ( lordclassyus) Vote: Scavenge from the valley, then reattempt going east. (12) Outcome: With some time taken to gather up more supplies, your band braves the eastern mountains once more. Like the Fern before you, you have only made it part of the way before being forced by the aerial predators as well as the cold into caves for shelter. Along the way, you encountered a group of people claiming to be from the Fern band, now calling themselves the Kashar, and are determined to return to the home valley. They are allowed to pass with no issue, though they also claim your band is on a foolās errand and will all die. This shakes your peopleās morale, but the elders reassure them that this will not be a repeat of last time. Stability: -1 Power: 1 Bukar ( Aquos) Vote: Scout the area (15) Outcome: Your scouts scour the nearby trails as well as downstream. They return with news that they have found more of the berries as well as trees that bear nuts with a delicious jelly inside (those found by the Tuuk last round), though these are few in number. Downstream is a lake, though itās smaller than the lake of the home valley, and holds many possible food sources in its waters. This further excites those who wish to head further downriver. Stability: 2 Power: 1 Thourian ( soundwave) Vote: Settle in the valley of the ancients (20) Outcome: Your gatherers and hunters enjoy a great bounty of Degi nuts as well as some of the remaining Astani, in addition, in the absence of the large foragers, other herbivores seem to have moved in, namely large reptiles with four trunk-like legs, large bellies that nearly drag on the ground as they move, and thick necks supporting large heads with tough beaks that let them peel some bark from the trees as well as pull down low branches for their leaves. This great bounty leads to an increase in your bandās size as prosperity means more food which leads to more children. EXTRA: You have come into contact with the Azba, a band that also decided to stay in the valley, who have made their homes by the coast of the lake. You have also made contact with the Kashar band who have returned from the eastern mountains with tales of sorrow and death. Stability: 1 Power: 1
