After reading Quantumcrab's comment on the chat thread, I asked myself "How do people find this game?". So,, I'm making this thread to ask you guys the question: How did you find this game? For me, I just looked up "games like spore" once trying to find a game like thrive, with scientific accuracy being more important than in Spore. Then, I found this game on the Spore wiki, which apparently has a page dedicated specifically for games like Spore.

I found on steam screenshots. There was a picture comparing the Willosaurus and the Disturbance with eachother. The guy who posted it tried to make it of like the Disturbance was an actual in-game picture. But oh well I guess. His bait worked on me.

I was looking for something that looked like Spore, but wasn't. I found Thrive and decided about a couple of years later to become part of the community. I can't remember exactly where i found it.

For me the soundtrack was also a great hookup. It got me really excited about all the possibilities, but mostly Thrive's potential. It sounds great and gives people an idea what Thrive could become.

I found this game a few years ago, showing off the color correction things used for eyesight. Then I came back, recognizing the symbol of Thrive.

I first found out about this through a 2005 Spore video which mentioned it in the comments. I looked at the website, watched for about a year, joined the community, now I'm here.

I found it in the comments on a video related to a possible spore 2. I was interested, and so looked it up along with that game called species. It was purely chance, but I am glad I did find it.

Can't remember for sure but I believe it was the Spore Demo comment section, which then led me to Olvier's channel, and consequently to Thrive
