One common problem that I've seen discussed alot about Thrive is outreach. Now I've discussed this idea already with Atrox on Discors but I wanted to get some other moderator's and developer's opinions on it.
I know a few good reviewer channels who might be willing to try Thrive out (or maybe even make a video about it). I would leave the following message in their Discussion page so as not to advertise on one of their videos.
Dear: XXX
As you are a good reviewer I was hoping that I could get your opinion on this project. While it is nowhere near done, I was wondering if you would play it and possibly give your thoughts on it to help improve it. (The link for Revolutionary Games' website would go here)

Now here lies the big question; is this a good idea and should I go through with it?
(I'm gonna get banned for this aren't I?)

While I have no opinion on this, I really doubt that this would get you banned.

Maybe you should wait until the cell stage is completed because the game is still a bit empty and the people who watch the gameplay might think thrive is boring... but of course you can do whatever you want, it's just my thought

The sentiment is good but I'd be extremely hesitant about this. The game as it is will not impress many who review games for a living. Who were you planning on contacting?

Reviewers with only about 250,000 subs and less. So it wouldn't' cause a Belgiumstorm if something did happen I wouldn't be surprised if I get ignored anyways as I'm not very influential

Do you want me to delete them?

Wait for a few others to weigh in. I also didn't realise you'd been leaving them on YouTube discussion pages (that serves me right for skim-reading) - I don't think big YouTubers (250,000 subs is still big in my book) check there that often.
EDIT: Something else: we know very well what we need to do to the game to improve it, so asking for feedback in that respect is useless. What we need is the publicity to get more people involved.

(I'm gonna get banned for this aren't I?) Sadly, thrive is not a game. Yet. Its merely a concept with little actual gameplay. Reviewers will play it, thinking it has lots of content, only to be greeted with an unfinished microbial stage. While this is not a bad thing, lots of love and time will be poured into it, I would wait until the multicellular stage is out. Only then, can the true feel of the game come through. If you advertised it anyway, I don't think they would ban you. But, thats just my opinion. More community members wouldn't hurt would it?
