I've been considering possible solution to our problems with outreach, so I would like to suggest a possible solution: Steam Greenlight. While it is unlikely the game will make it past the greenlight phase right now, it opens the game up to be discovered by a much larger audience and most of all, curators. The only reason I discovered thrive was because I searched for an article about games similar to Spore. While I know Thrive is trying to deviate from spore's cartoonish nature, we may have to pose as a more spore like game to gain attention (but not by changing mechanics). Why I mention this ties back in to getting the attention of steam curators. I believe we are the game they are looking for: store.steampowered.com/news/externalpost/rps/234577531159343838 Any Opinions?

Just as a heads-up, I've already created a thread regarding Thrive and Steam. I mean no disrespect, because you do bring up valid points about outreach, and Steam curators. However, as stated in my thread, Steam Greenlight will become obsolete this year. This is my thread regarding the whole Steam scenario.
I hope that my thread clarifies your concerns.
