Would there be giant creatures like the epics from spore? Heck, maybe even hyper epics? Maybe to diversify the ecosystem?
However, I'm thinking that if so, it could be more like Kong: Skull island, with an entire set of titanic fauna, rather than an energy pyramid-esque hierarchy like Spore did.

In an Earth-like planet, there are physical limitations to how big can animals be. Probably nothing bigger than a sauropod would be possible on land. However, in a low gravity planet, it would be pretty easy to creatures to become huge. (But remember, if a planet is too small it can't have atmosphere or water, so Godzilla is probably impossible in this universe)

As with most things, my experience with Thrive's game design philosophy says to "scale it up in the Organism Editor." Mice obviously have a smaller scale than humans, we can go deeper.
