What if we were able to find Earth?, I was thinking we could have been one of the key factors with the start of life on Earth, Or maybe It's already occupied by Humanity, Modern or Primitive. We could be the asteroid that wiped the dinosaurs, We could be the "Gods" that seeded life on earth, Or the "Gods" who helped them on their way to greatness.

I think I read something about that somewhere, so I'm pretty sure that this will be in the game, at least as a little Easter egg. Though I'm probably the worst person to reply to this because I just created an account

I believe it was somewhere on the old forum, in the same thread where someone stated that he wanted rainbow unicorns to come out of black holes, so I don't know how valid my answer above is...

I think it could be added as an Easter egg, but consider the chances very, very slim, as the universes will be randomly generated, containing as few amounts of constants as possible.

There's an Easter eggs thread here too, and I believe the earth was suggested there.

What stage of development would Earth be in, though?
Would players zoom in on Earth to find only rudimentary societies dwelling in river valleys? Or would they not make it within 20 lightyears before the United Planets of America starts pelting lasers at them? Maybe they'd just find a world inhabited by giant reptiles? Or maybe, even, all there would be is two moonless worlds revolving uncomfortably close to each other?
At the risk of "spoiling" the surprise (not that users here wouldn't be posting about the Easter eggs left and right), we could have it be determined by the player in some way. Possibly by having it be determined by difficulty level (which, unbeknownst to the player, also decides how advanced and numerous interstellar rivals will be), which wouldn't spoil it.

Perhaps we could have multiple outcomes, having a chance for anything.

Maybe it could just be determined by what time our species evolve. If our species is alive during the time that humans are, we may meet them. If we find Earth at the time of the Dinosaurs, we can see them. If our species has evolved before the Earth's Solar System is even formed, then in that playthrough, we'd never be able to see them, but in another one we might see Humans, and then another be millions of years after humans are extinct.
