Application Type: Species and Planet
Planet: A rocky world that has 86% of its surface area covered in water. It is roughly 1 AU from its home star (kel'twa prime) and has an axial inclination of roughly 23.4 degrees. The planet is blanketed in thick cyan forests and algal mats, but has no indigenous animal life. Its silent thickets lay undisturbed during intermissions in the wind. The main continent is the only sizable amalgam of land, with a scattering of archipelagos around its fringes. Smaller volcanic islands periodically pierce the ocean waves. Designated kel'twa II by its inhabitants the kel'dori, it hosts 8 of their settlements. Location: Outer Third of Sciocont Arm Astronomy: G-Type Main series star, one rocky planet closer to the star than it, one moon, two gas giants in outer solar system Owners: Kel'dori Sapients: Kel'dori Creatures: Cyan trees and algae. Some fungi.
Species: Description: The keldori are a bipedal alien race coming to a maximal height of 1.4 meters. Their head is shaped very similarly to an anteater's, as their long adhesive-covered tongue was once used for the consumption of small colonial arthropods. They have two eyes similar in construction to an octopus', and four ears with a similar range of motion to Earthly lagomorphs. They have no sense of smell, and can only taste umami, sweet, and salt. They are covered in thick, lead-infused scales that range in color over 52 grayscale values. These scales are highly radiation resistant, but tend to fracture under blows from direct angles. Their tail is stiff and is about 1/3 as long as their height. They have four arms, the upper pair is dextrous and shaped similarly to those of a human, while the bottom pair is significantly shorter and thicker, with digging claws instead of manual digits. Reproduction is now carried out by artificial gene combination and clinical breeding in what are essentially jars. (Brief) History: The kel'dori originally hailed from kel'un, where they formed massive colonies that worked in peace to increase wealth and technological level. When their first rocket was constructed, a renegade kel'dori scientist who sought to end what he saw as the species' destructive influence on the environment caused an error in the launch that sent it careening into a nearby city. This marked the species' first and last period of warfare. For 100 years new and terrible weapons were created, eventually leading to such horrifying chemical weapons that kel'un became uninhabitable. The survivors forged a new society and took to the stars. After 500 years of sublight travel, their species made it to kel'twa. Government: Technocracy Diet: Synthesized nutrients Disposition: War weary, generally friendly Biochemistry: Carbon-based Population Size: 500,500,500 (star date 504 AKU census) Life Span: 300 natural years, augmentations can extend this up to 50 extra Important Figures: Li'vash Lu'nua (Prime Investigator, similar office to Prime Minister) Kral'tesh Desh'nua (Defenses Coordinator) The Silent Virus (Renegade Faction Leader) Distribution: Kel'twa Tech Level: Late Information Age Affiliations: None (so far) Religions: Predominantly Apatheism and Agnosticism.
Sorry there aren't images, I suck at drawing. Also, let me know if I misunderstood the purpose of this application thread. Also Also, in the event it's accepted, feel free to use kel'dori, kel'un, or kel'twa in your stories!

World: The Sipsiwn Gofod hail from the planet Cartref. The temperatures are mild, not unsimilar to earth. There is one moon. On Cartref there exists a single Super continent with a few isles dispatched from its coast but no other significant landmass. Said super continent and islands are dotted with huge long-extinguished volcanoes - a remnant of Cartrefs troubled youth. The past Milena however Cartref has been very complacent -geographically speaking. Because there is only one continent the Ocean of Cartef is relatively stagnant, with few strong currents. However both the Super continent and the Sea are often plagued by powerful storms since the existence of a single continent means there are no other landmasses that could "break" the storm's strength.
Cartref's orbit around the local sun is more or less round and even; however the planet makes up for this with its own strange spin-pattern wich has earned it the tittle as "a drunk god's dreidel". These eratic spins and fluctuations of the axis lead- in conjunction with the super storms- to an unpredictable weather Patern and chaotic climate. Snow may fall at anytime in the year while even in the midst of winter a heatwave may turn the snow covered land into a humid marsh land and then abruptly back into a frozen ice-ball Only at one time of the year the so called "eye of the storm" the weather can be relied upon. During this more or less two month long period the weather is calm and friendly with only rarely light showers of rain.
Dominant/Sapient species
The Sipsiwn Gofod (or for simplicity's sake sow refered to a Sipsys) are the intelligent species inhabiting this planet. They look suprisingly humanoid, bi-pedal with two arms. They are omnivores and grow to a height of slightly more than two meters although their usual height is somewhere like 1.70 to 1.80 meters (sorry for all people using imperial but this is SiFi not fantasy).
However that is where their similarities to humans end -at least on a superficial level. Their eyes are slitted like a cat's so they can see well during the sometimes week long darkness. Their skin is thick and tough to withstand the elements. Their canine teath tell of how the Sypsis evolved from Carnivore to Omnivore so long ago.
Some heretical Sypsi priests have said their creator-god told them that he was more interested in society than in creating a unique species but obviously they were sacrificed for their heresy.
Society and Tech:
I plan on writing in different times of their existence so tech level and society will change every time. However there are a few constants:
-Due to the special climate conditions as mentioned above the Sypsies developed agriculture only very late and were not eager in adopting it. Even after gaining FTL and colonizing other planets this staple of their culture didn't change. They just don't do agriculture a lot (but it does exist in a limited way)
-Their political system is organised in something resembling the greek Polis. Every Volcano harbors a city of permanent residents and constitutes a distinct political entity for as wide as the volcano can be seen on the horizon.
-in the Volcano-cities lives a permanent population of politicians, warriors and artisans serviced by semi-nomadic groups of hunter-gatherers who inhabit the surrounding countryside.
-the aforementioned two groups from the two biggest castes of the Sypsis: The stationary "housers" and the semi-nomadic "rangers" there is also a third relevant caste: the "grey coats". In as far as there can be gypsies in a semi-nomadic population they fill this role of tinkers, traveling entertainers and rumor mongers. Membership in the castes was originally hereditary; as time progresses social barriers fell and in Space stage one can switch castes freely.
Life span: some members reach 120 years of age but 80 is the usual age-of-death. Some species might smile about this short-livednes but this gives Sipsys a vibrancy and other species find difficult to match.
Important figures will be cooked up later
If someone wants to use Sypsies as prop in their wrighting be welcome to do so in the space age but not before (or just pm me)

Exar Droids Type: Sapient (-ish) species (-ish). Biological Description: Small, round body, with 4 insectoid legs extending from it. No appearant disticnt head, three yellow robotic eyes lined after eachother. Small gun attached to the right side of the front of the body. 'Skin' made out of metal, or plasitcs (depends on what's avaible). Specific feature's may vary with individual droids. Backstory and Behavior: The Exar are some type of Von-Neumann droids designed by an unkown species. Although their exact goal remains unkown, it is assumed that they where made in order to explore the galaxy for their creators. There are two type's of Exar: the Droids, which collect resource's and gain data, and the Mother-Ships which make new droids, store data, and travel to new study-objectives. Exar can often be seen taking sample's from their surroundings, as well as killing non-sapient species to perform autopsies on them. The Exar have never been observed killing a member of a near sapient or sapient species (unless provoked). Exar can sometimes be observed sending signals to eachother, and to Mother-Ships. They can also rarely be observed sending signals to an unkown source (presumed to be their creators). No civilliasation has been able to deciphere these signals as of yet. Exar tend to stay on one study-object for about 10 earth years. In which time they try to gain data on the climate, geography, geographical action, and bio-sphere of the planet. Spread: unkown technology: N/A FTL: Warp
Please tell me if this isn't good for the universe. Also, feel free to use these guys in your stories. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them.

I've been working on this one for a bit, and it's awkwardly similar to Aquos ' guys, but here goes. (I'm not going to reveal everything about it... It needs to be explored first.) Anomalous MegastructureApplication Type: Megastructure (planetary-scale), plus parent star Description:An enormous titanium icosahedron, about 3,000 kilometers wide, in orbit around a Class-L brown dwarf. It is tidally locked to the brown dwarf, so that one side always faces it. Its axial tilt allows for one of its triangular faces to be trained directly on the brown dwarf. On this face is a circular, concave opening about 140 kilometers wide. By some form of gravitational manipulation, the object funnels a thin, yet constant stream of gas from the brown dwarf’s surface into the circular opening. This is likely meant to stock the megastructure with fresh hydrogen to use for fuel. All other faces feature arrays of structures. The structures’ purposes are unclear, although they are likely meant for observation, communication, or even defense. However, an average of 80% of these structures are in disrepair. At the center of every face is a smaller opening, consistently about 10 kilometers wide, presumably acting as entrances. The entrances are surrounded by six tall “antennae” with no clear purpose. Due to it orbiting a brown dwarf (which does not emit light in the visible range), it is only visible from a distance via infrared detection. Other Information:Political Jurisdiction: Unknown, presumed unclaimed. Age: Unknown (brown dwarf is estimated to be between 2-3.5 billion years old). Creator(s): Unknown. Feel free to include it in a story (although you might need to message me to know what to write about).

Application Type:Sapient Species Description: The Ionax are sapient machines that reach the height of 8 feet (12 feet if in a military position). Their structure consists of smooth black metal plates with a dark gray metal making up the joints. Their inner workings mostly contain wires, power cores and in the area where the brain would be, an orb made out of the alloy Positium (a glowing, light blue metal that contains an immense amount of energy which makes them a great power source), Their hands have three long, flexible fingers while their "feet" look more like metal boots. On their face, they have three orange "eyes" and a light gray insignia that represents their position in society (a horizontal line is a citizen, a V-shaped symbol is military or law enforcment and an X shaped symbol is someone in government). History:The Ionax are creations of a previous sapient species whose names are unknown even to them, as no records exist of the previous species' identity. They rose to power in the galaxy largely by taking the technology of the previous species and revitalizing for their own use. They do not inhabit planets but rather build humongous battleships/cities that serve as the seats of the empire. Government:Monarchy (the main city-ship ultimately rules the entire empire, but each city-ship is ruled by their own leader) Diet:None Disposition:Cautious and quick to attack, but very loyal allies if befriended Biochemistry:Metal Estimated Population Size:355,000,000 Life Span:(Technically) Ageless Important Figures:Cylax (Supreme Leader and Leader of the city-ship Axol) Ridus (Leader of the city-ship Xexel) Madon (Leader of the city-ship Vasse) Commander Exon (Head-Commander of the Ionax Military) No-1, also known as No-one (Ionax rebel, extremely dangerous Space Pirate and leader of the Space Pirate faction The Plasma Blades) Oh, and feel free to use them. Just message me first

I decided to draw the Ioxans, though my pictures are probably nowhere near the levels of some of the artists here but I tried From left to right, an Ioxan citizen. an Ioxan official (complete with an awesome energy cape) and at the very end an Ioxan soldier.

Application:A new planet as well as the species on it. Planet:The planet is called Osris-1 (Not Osiris) It's a planet slightly smaller than earth that orbits around 1 star with another one in the distance (Meaning that you can see 2 stars from the planet's surface.) It has 2 moons and one neighboring planet Elrox which the main species of Osris-1 has already colonized. It has 3 main biomes: - Grasslands - Swamps - Forests They vary in color and appearance. I have two images of the grasslands here: imgur.com/a/n5scrThe grass in said grasslands varies in color. It can be pink, blue-ish or just green.(due to the evolution of these plants in different biomes) The liquid lakes/oceans/rivers is of purple color, and has a half liquid, half jelaton form (mostly liquid) The Swamps have a dark greenish-blue color, (mostly blue) with rivers of the Purple liquid. They have a deep, grassy landscape (obviously). The forests are basically the Grasslands but with the green grass and trees. (pictured in the grassland drawings) Creatures:There are two dominant creatures on Osris-1 Those would be the Osrisian Tripods (They call themselves Trionites), and the Primii. They have both evolved and became sapient over the years (The primii being the first sapient beings on Osris-1, who developed a tribe while the Trionites were still animalistic, yet due to a sorts of civil war the civilization progress has been strongly delayed for the Primii, giving the Trionites an advantage in evolving and developing a society of their own.) The tripods started out as small multicellular organisms as pictured below Look familiar? They slowly evolved through the ages into the tripodial form, then developed a stance on two legs, but not the regular way. Having only one hind leg, their tail developed into a new hind leg, while the front legs developed into arms. Here is an image showing that, as well as a few other things about it: Picture
(just a quick description of the color) (I apologize for the following text being a link.)
They are dark grey (almost black) in color, with a sliiiiiight blue tint. Some of them have yellow eyes, some light blue. The "babies" of the species are a white color. They reach maturity at a medium grey color (11 years)
After the Primii civil war had ended the tripods had already developed a tribe like society. They established a system with no tribe leader, which was soon changed because of anarchy. They soon developed a system of trading things for other things and services (so a basic trading system). However, things went insane when the Primii first met the tripods as sapient beings. The primii saw them as irrelevant, so they waged a war on them. The war went on for several years until the eventual defeat of the tripods. After a year or so war sparked again, but this time nobody won. They established a reluctant peace and left each other be. Several centuries went by and both species advanced to the point of cities and technology. They met once more, signed a peace treaty and split the land they owned, finally reaching true peace. A decade later, the tripods developed space travel, and colonized the two moons of Osris-1, and a nearby planet. Both species now strive to travel the cosmos and discover new creatures/civilizations both for their own reasons. The Primii are trying to spread the concept of currency and trade so they can establish deals and trading routes, while the tripods seek knowledge of other civilizations and species, as well as some military advancement. Oh and here's the Primii (shoulda posted that earlier)

Finished, ready to be added to TU. (Sorry it doesn't fully follow the layout)
You May Use but please PM first
Application Type:Planet, Ecosystem and Sentient SpeciesPlanet: Aktar 4Location: Middle Third of the Tenebrarum AmOwner: AktariansAktar 4 of the Aktar system, located in the Middle Third of the Tenebrarum Arm.Aktar 4 is a planet with 24% land, spread across 5 different continents, all with different landscapes and ecosystems: Bintaway, Asio, Kincatee, Northern Cylo and Southern Cylo Bintaway:An island continent just below the equator about the size of Brazil, the most notable feature is the Basin Jungles; large canyons kind of like the opposite of plateaus, filled with huge trees each having a huge, singular, round leaf on top. Inside the jungles is a network of strange Fungi simply called The Net thrivegame.freeforums.net/thread/1026/net. Animals in this continent are no bigger than Sheep. There are around 200 different species but notable species include the Swopreen, large winged creatures that prey on small animals hiding in The Net, the apex predators of Bintaway. The Colletorus, Reptilian-Sloth like creatures with stalk-eyes that travel to the canopy to collect water; the Scureyoo, small lizard like animals with very long limbs to travel quickly through The Net and the Beetael, a large arthropod that eats waste from the Jungle floor. There are no lakes or rivers, but there is a huge network of underground caves filled with water, which is where most animals (with the exception of the Colletorus and some other species) go to take in water. Despite the diversity and thriving life, this unique ecosystem is very fragile. 90% of organisms in the Basin Jungles depend on The Net, if it were to be removed, the results would be catastrophic.
Asio:
Another island continent near the equator, the main region of Asio features large, rock spires that tower hundreds or metres into the air, with swamps and marshland covering the ground areas between them. The outer regions feature rocky jungles and tropical beach land. Because of it's history of large amounts of organic life, there is a lot of oil in the ground. This oil rises up through the rock spires and forms springs at the very top. It's this easy access to oil that helped the planet's Sentient species develop advanced technology so quickly. Just a few of the animals in the region include Aridins, large relatives of the Swopreens that nest on rock spires; Catraries, duck-billed creatures bigger than Elephants with two long arms, each ending with a singular, huge claw for dragging plant material to it's mouth; Dashreys, small carnivorous creatures almost therapod dinosaur-like in appearance with powerful legs that run and jump through the Rocky Jungles and Spire Swamps hunting in packs, often preying on animals such as the Snoutai, a lion sized herbivore with a mouth resembling the snout of an Opabinia, two huge eyes and webbed feet for an amphibious lifestyle. Asio's apex predator, the Gigotorax, is a 15m long amphibious creature that lives in the Spire Swamps and Marshes. It has four short, powerful legs for ambushing. Its head features four eyes, two on the face adapted for underwater vision, the other two on stalks that stick out from the water. Its long, flexible proboscis can also stick out of the water so it can breath and smell incoming prey.
Kincatee:
This small continent is a series of islands and seas with the biggest being connected by a land bridge to Asio. Many of the islands feature warm, tropical climates, with the islands getting smaller as you go further out into the ocean. The biggest island, Kincat, and the 5 smaller main islands around it, feature dense jungle similar to rain forests and jungles on Earth. Main species include the Spitocadact, an aerial creature resembling a Pterosaur which has two funnels on each side of its head to eject long range acidic spit. Family groups and packs can sometimes be seen having dogfights with other groups over territory. On the ground, a rhino sized, armoured, reptilian herbivores called Hootars feature a spiked shells, and a mouths like the Omnivore cell mouth in Spore. Their hoots and whistles are means of long and short range communication and they are surprisingly intelligent despite their passive look. Omnivorous, tree-dwelling relatives of the Dashreys called Socidonts live in treetop communities while trying to avoid the red eyes of the Spitocadacts. The islands in the middle of the huge archipelago feature a mix of forests, plains, tropical forests, and volcanic islands, each island having many unique species of life (kind of like a supersized version of the Galapagos). The small islands near the edge of the ocean are very interesting; the life on these islands is very primitive, like a snapshot of the first land animals. Even though there has been terrestrial life on Aktar 4 for 350 million years, these islands remain almost untouched from evolution. It is this natural phenomenon (combined with the oil spires) that will make Aktar 4 a very popular planet when a Galactic "society" begins to emerge as more civilisations take to the stars.
Northern Cylo:
A continent shaped similar to Russia with a climate of Canada. The lower regions feature more lakes and forests while the higher regions have more mountains and tundra. Some of the animals (mainly herbivores) in this continent can be compared to ice-age mega-fauna from Earth. Starting from the lower regions near the land bridge that connects North and South Cylo, the climate is mild, with mostly grasslands and lakes. Animals are either big or fast to defend themselves from Spritanoes; long legged carnivores the size of T-Rex. Moving up to the centre, there are much more forests and the temperature can range from 5oc to 25 oc. Many large herbivores from the plains can also be seen in this continent. A bulkier relative to the Spritanoes, the Bultry prefers strength over speed when it comes to hunting. In northern regions, some of the large herbivorous creatures from the forests move to the mountains. Valleys that can be compared to the French Alps in Summer host a range of different creatures at different levels. In the valley forests, you can see some large herbivores from lower down the continent, but also new predators like the Slassar, a vicious predator with very long claws and teeth. Further up the mountainsides, the area is populated with spruce forests and some waterfalls. These forests host a very unique carnivore, the Feathdact. Its appearance is basically a Deinonychus with bird wings instead of arms. These animals are highly intelligent, and it's possible that if the Aktarians (the sentient species, more below) had not evolved first, Feathdacts would be the dominant sentient species of Aktar 4. If you put it into Thrive perspectives, the Feathdacts could be in the Awakening stage. Perhaps if the Aktarians ever leave the planet, the Feathdacts will take their place. In the Arctic Semi-Circle (there's not enough land for it to be a circle) you can find the Polar Slassar; 30m long, six limbed, whale-like creatures called Bluboonodons; a white, long-snouted relative of the Feathdact called Peircrods which hunt six limbed seal like creatures called Balodons.
Southern Cylo:
The southern region of this continent is mainly deserts and scrubland. Only small animals live here. In the middle of the continent, the environment is mostly savanna and valleys. The animals in this region include the Titanosaur-sized Quakreo; the armoured Armorodon and the very fast Velocirodon. It's in these valleys that the Aktarians evolved. Just as Humans are part of the Great Apes, Aktarians are part of a group that contains the long legged predators seen in South Cylo and some southern regions of North Cylo (the Spritanoes are part of this group). Aktarian's ancestors, the Maniplates, had two long legs and two long arms with six digits on each hand. Being small (compared to other members of the Family) it began to find it was struggling to compete with its relatives. One had piercing hand claws that could go through the Armorodon's armour (Prodonoe). Another species could catch up to Velocirodons (Spritanoe). The Maniplates were not as fast or strong, and they ended up having to scavenge off other relative's kills. Over the centuries, Maniplates had to get smarter to find new ways of stealing food. Having to be able to carry and rip pieces of food meant their fingers became more articulated and more complicated wrists developed very quickly. Eventually, Maniplate groups would take in turns to scavenge food, leaving some individuals at home to explore. Free time. Free time to think, free time to experiment, free time to think: "What if I threw this rock at something?". It is this that caused the rise of the Aktarians.
Map:
The Aktarians
The Aktarians are 3m tall, with only 30cm being their main body. They have two large, black, Anomalocaris-like eyes, two nostrils on the top of the head and an Omnivorous, beak shaped mouth with one tooth functioning like a large incisor, four canine like teeth and at the back of the mouth, many small needle-like teeth. Aktarians communicate with clicks, hisses and barks. Average lifespan was originally 90 years, over the centuries the number has increased to 350 but recent advances in stem cell technology can allow individuals with high priority jobs (e.g. space exploration) to live as long as they want. Aktarians are a proud species, but also extremely thankful for the resource-rich planet they inhabit. With the increasing number of space-faring aliens, the Aktarian government is investing resources into defence. They know many envious species will want to claim Aktar 4 for their own.
Governments: USC, Asioans
Affiliations: The Ionax Empire (allies)
Religions: 4% of the population worship the Sun, Nebulas and other "life-giving" things for providing them with the beautiful, bountiful planet they live on.

History of the Aktarians (does not have to be included in TU catalogue):
Key events are in bold
5000 BSE: The first real society is made in one pack of Aktarians. The jobs include Guards, Food Gatherers, Food Preparation, Commander.
4100 BSE: Most if not all of the Aktarian packs in Southern Cylo have formed societies. Trade, alliances and conflicts begin. Spritanoe populations begin moving into Southern regions of North Cylo. Prodonoes become less common. Some groups explore into Northern Cylo and settle there. Other create boat-like structures and cross a small sea, discovering Asio. These Aktarians struggle to settle and return to Southern Cylo.
2000 BSE: Different racial groups and cultures begin to appear, Northern Cylonians, Sourthern Cylonians and Asioans. Northern Cylonians have thicker, browner skin while Asioans have leaner bodies and green skin. Southern Cyloians believe in prosperity and strength when you are united. Some Northern Cylonians believe in Survival Of the Fittest and have a more aggressive nature, while other groups are more protective. Asioans have an exploration and technology attitude. They have yet to ascend the rock spires but have constructed many different mechanisms.
496 BSE: After the USC (United Southern Cylo) begins to expand across the land bridge after population increases, one country of North Cylonians see it as a threat and declare war on the USC. The group of North Cylonians begin recruiting from their own continent and form the NCE (North Cylonian's Empire). Any that do not join leave and flee to the USC. The Asioans originally wanted to stay out of the fight, until this time they had been working on new inventions and sending scientists to Kincatee. Now, they have no choice but to assist the USC. With the USC backed by Asioan resources, and the NCE backed by resources in the far North, new technologies of war quickly develop.
491 BSE: The NCE discovers a mineral similar to Magnesium in the Northern Mountains that acts like natural gunpowder. They begin mining the material, but when workforce becomes low, they enslave USC POWs and even populations of Feathdacts.
490 BSE: Asioans manage to extract oil from the Spires of Asio and begin to use it for fuel and manufacturing purposes. Production increases by 230%. 489 BSE: The first NCE mega cannons are used in battle, they obliterate USC forces, but the USC can quickly recover due to advances in transportation technology.
484 BSE: The war "ends" as both the USC and NCE are exhausted from fighting, they agree a ceasefire.
480 BSE: The Asioans discover the primitive islands in Kincatee and declare it a conservation area.
475 BSE: The Asioans develop oil powered ships and supply them to the USC. The USC send the ships along the West coast of North Cylo, out of detection from the NCE and reach an uninhabited area of the mountains. Using specialised machines, they begin secretly mining the rare "natural gunpowder". Spies learn that the NCE are enslaving hundreds of thousands of USC POWs and discover the Feathdacts. The USC leader at the time sees this as an offence and, wanting to return his soldiers, makes the decision to continue the war.
473 BSE: Combining the ship and gunpowder technology, the USC create their first battleships and set up blockades around key coastline areas. They then begin an assault through the battle-torn land bridge into Northern Cylo.
466 BSE: After years of conflict, the USC's advanced transportation technology proves to be the deciding factor of the war. The NCE just can't keep up with the rapid USC reinforcements and eventually surrender. NCE citizens are given the choice to assimilate with the USC or be banished to the far eastern corner of Northern Cylo. The USC and Feathdact slaves are freed.
463 BSE: The Asioans discover Bintaway. They decide to claim it for themselves but that does not make USC happy. Political arguments follow.
461 BSE: The Asioans, after sending scientists to explore the continent, make the claim that the ecosystem is very fragile. They find out it is the last continent to be discovered, and so say it must be preserved until we need it one day in the future.
460 BSE: A political war break out that almost ends up in a real war, with debates continuously going on over who has access and ownership to Bintaway.
456 BSE: The Asioans win Bintaway. Now each super-government owns a half of the world to itself.
400 BSE: The two super-governments have begun to drift apart in terms of connection. Each group quietly gets on doing its own thing, with the only real contact being holidays and business talks.
356 BSE: A disgruntled Asio patriot remembers the time when their continent was all about innovation. They are unhappy with the slow progress their continent is making. They begin devising plans with people who share the same view on how to "bring old Asio back".
354 BSE: The leader of the now called "Return Asio's Glory" or RAG, decides that the country made the most progress when they were at war. They send a messenger to the east of Northern Cylo, were the old military leaders of the NCE are forced to stay. The messenger tells them of how RAG wants to rebuild both their governments to their former glory, and how they should form an alliance. The old NCE leaders agree and begin making plans on their escape. RAG members smuggle huge amounts of oil, weaponry and other supplies to the struggling society.
351 BSE: The RAG rebellion begins, Neo NCE forces and RAG forces attack USC outposts and settlements across Northern Cylo. The USC quickly sends troops to Northern Cylo, while the Asioan army begins to reinforce the coastlines of Asio and Kincatee with its immense navy. As mass troops from the USC are being sent to defend, the first missiles, developed in secret by RAG and NCE scientists obliterate incoming USC troop transports. The world is thrown into panic, all USC citizens and soldiers are evacuated from the whole continent of Northern Cylo, and the USC prepares for invasion.
350 BSE: While the RAG-NCE forces have time, they begin to develop missiles with longer range. In the meantime, the USC calls upon Asio once again for help. The Asioans begin developing an attempt for anti-missile technology.
347 BSE: The RAG-NCE new missiles finally launch, to the USC-Asioan's dismay, the anti-missile technology only eliminates 19% of the missiles. The capital city of Kincat is almost completely destroyed, as is one of the USC's main cities on the land bridge. Huge amounts of USC and Asioan territory is destroyed.
346 BSE: After the second wave of missiles, the USC and Asioans are distraught. But the Asioans have a plan. They have a large military base on the coast of Bintaway, filled with long range bombardment ships. "Operation B" is planned.
345 BSE: "Operation B" begins, the Asioans send hundreds of heavy bombardment cruisers across the ocean to the coast of east Northern Cylo. The bombardment begins, and 4 out of 5 of the missile factories a destroyed. There is one missile left, which supposedly can "wipe out half a continent". The ships don't take any chances and fire on it immediately. The factory explodes, and a vast shock-wave flattens most of east Northern Cylo, and causes earthquakes all over the world.
330 BSE: The world has recovered from the disaster. There is no more threat for war, and, from the huge amounts of devastation, the two remaining super governments of the USC and The Asioans promise never to let there be war on the planet ever again, and the Halt Act is signed. Scientists managed to save the ecosystems from being destroyed, and while the eastern corner of Northern Cylo remains a desert permanently, the rest of Aktar 4 will eventually return to the resource-rich, biologically diverse, beautiful planet it was before.
326 BSE: Using the missile technology, the Asioans send the first space probes into atmosphere, equipped with imaging technology, they are able see the whole planet from space. The amazing images provoke an increased demand to get people into space.
309 BSE: The first Aktarian is sent into space, they manage the return safely.
299 BSE: The first Aktarians land on Aktar 4's moon.
297 BSE: Probes are sent out into space, hoping to find anything of interest in the Aktar system or in outer space.
278 BSE: The first colonies are set up on Aktar 4's moon.
271 BSE: More scientific colonies are built on the moon, with the moon's population now at 100,000 individuals.
265 BSE: Plans are made for construction of colonies on the nearby planet Aktar 5, an icy, ocean planet thought to have large amounts of tidal waves, perfect for Hydro-Electric energy.
257 BSE: Asioan scientists increase rocket power, they can now travel 5 times as fast.
254 BSE: The colony on the icy, water planet of Aktar 5 is built and renewable energy is being transported to Aktar 4, meaning the oil spires, still rich in oil, can be preserved for much longer than initially predicted.
213 BSE: After decades of research, the first manned interstellar spacecraft capable of leaving the Aktar system is built, the ship heads for their nearest star system, which has yet to be named.
197 BSE: The ship arrives on a unnamed rocky planet, the Aktarian astronauts discover basic microbial life. The information is returned to Aktar 4
194 BSE: 100 Spacecrafts are constructed, and are sent out to nearby star systems.
161 BSE: One day, an Aktarian spacecraft intercepts an unknown transmission. It is a simple, 2D picture, but its contents are something bizarre. The picture shows two bipedal figures with two arms and two legs. What appears to be hands and feet each feature 5 extensions. One round, detailed body part features what appears to be 4 sets of sensory organs. This is possibly the most important discovery the Aktarians had ever made, they had discovered other sapient beings like them in their galaxy. Little do they know, the species they have discovered has one of the most destructive histories of the many alien races they will encounter. They have discovered Humans.
153 BSE: After the outstanding discovery, listening and research stations are built on the three Aktarian owned planets (Aktar 4, 5 and the rocky microbial planet) to try and establish more contact with the mysterious race or other potential races nearby. At the same time, scientists have been working on super fast space travel, and 5 "Super Ships" are created, 2 explore nearby systems, 3 are sent further towards the Outer Third of the Tenebrarum Arm, the direction where the mysterious transmission came from.
145 BSE: While 3 of the 5 Aktarian Super Ships are on their route, a research station on the rocky microbial planet detects an anomaly approaching the planet, the station then goes silent, a ship is sent to investigate, and finds the station destroyed. Who could've done this?
137 BSE: A patrolling ship runs into an unidentified ship, information is immediately sent to Aktar 4. This is the second sentient species Aktarians have discovered!
134 BSE: After years of communication, the two races have established themselves in terms of languages. The mystery race are called the Ionax, mechanical being who inhabit huge ships. The Aktarians need help, there is still a danger of another mystery attack and offer an alliance with the Ionax, who will accept the offer as long as the Aktarians help with weapons development. The Aktarians are unsure, they do not want any more disastrous weapons, but eventually agree. Asioan scientists set to work on one of Aktar 5's moons working with Ionax scientists.
130 BSE: The 3 Super Ships arrive in the star system of what they call the "first race". However, after months of scanning and long range visuals show that Humans are a war-ridden species with many conflicts, the Aktarians decide to ignore humanity.
2 ASE: Until this point, Aktarian civilisation had been untroubled. Their Ionax allies have prevented any envious aliens from attacking Aktar 4, five more star systems have been colonised and they have been supplying Ionax governments in war. The USC and Asioan super-governments still exist with similar roles as before. However, they now have word that the primitive race they observed long ago, Humans, have now reached the stars, and are rapidly spreading. Both super-governments begin pouring even more money into defence, as scans show the Humans are spreading their way.
Any more Aktarian history will be continued through story applications.

Quick question StealthStyleL What is the usability of Humans? I assume in this universe only you control what the humans do? If so, can I include part of my species' history as them receiving one of the messages sent out by humans?

StealthStyleL - What do we do if we want to update our application? Note: The the subscript next to names is the Human pronunciation - the Tireeie pronounce it a bit differently in a way that Humans find difficulty in mimicking. PM for use. Planet Slohb(slobe)A temperate ocean planet that orbits a safe distance from it's home star, Maeiia (MAY-yuh). 100% of it's surface is covered by water. This vast ocean is home to a wide variety of life, from simple bacteria to advanced multicellular organisms, from the very surface to the bottoms of the deepest trenches. Among these creatures are the intelligent Tireeie.ImagesSlohb as seen from space. (Image taken in SpaceEngine) The Tireeie(tie-REE-yee)The Tireeie are sapient, fishlike organisms from Slohb. ImagesPixel art of Bekseeib, a female Tireeie, wearing advanced clothing Goldenmaw, male, the leader of the Eiishesh, wearing a spacesuit and holding some weapons. BiologyTireeie are about the size of a dolphin. They have a long, flexible body, 6 fins, 5 eyes and a triangular beak for a mouth (see second image). They have a long line of nostril-like gills underneath the fin. They have noodly, branching 'arms' protruding from the cheeks, which are also very flexible (see second image again) Their voices allow them to create dolphin-like sounds, makeeieing theeier unusual words pronouncableeiiieiaaie. Females typically have light, sky-blue skin, while males usually have dark blue skin. Brief HistorySoon after gaining sapience, they began to form tribes as they spread across the planet. These tribes were primitive at first, but eventually their technology improved as discoveries were made. One key discovery, however, was impossible to make due to their habitat. They were unable to discover fire. Because of this, they could not smelt metals and therefore could not get past the Stone Age.
And so civilization was stuck for millennia, discoveries still being made, technology gradually improving, civilizations rising and falling, until finally, out of the blue, their civilization was uplifted by an advanced alien race (known as the Treaii(TREE-uh) by the Tireeie) for unknown reasons. It wasn't long before the Tireeie had their spaghetti-like hands on their technology, reverse engineering it and spreading it through the oceans. Villages became unusual mixes of old and new, primitive and futuristic. Treaiinu, a religion based around the Treaii, was created and quickly spread through Slohb, mostly replacing the smaller religions that had existed before.
It wasn't too long before space travel was developed and the Tireeie began to colonize the galaxy, meeting new species along the way. Notable Groups Eiishesh:(YEE-shesh) A formidable band of space pirates, led by the terrible Captain Goldenmaw. The Eiishesh aren't connected with any nation. They are known for attacking ships, stations, and colonies in deep space in search of money and technology, often leaving few survivors. They are so well known that many simply associate Tireeie in general with them. This contributes to the Tireeie's largely negative image.
Treaiinu:(TREE-uh-new) A religion based on the Treaii(TREE-uh)'s visitation of Slohb. Around 60% of Tireeie are followers of Treaiinu, and nearly 98% of Treaiinu's followers are Tireeie. Although it promotes mostly peaceful actions, some extremists believe that the visitors gave the Tireeie technology to help them conquer other alien races.

Type: Planet (you can use) Name: Krahar. Host Star: Meltraher. Moon(s): one, Keztra. Owner: Kingdom of Hebaria (Haztagari) Geography: about 65% of surface is covered in water. There are 4 main continents: Fizgar, a large landmass located near the equiator of the planet, with on overal tropical climate. Kraghar, a smaller (but still significant) landmass located near the northern pole of the planet, an overal cold climate. Faztular, a large island archipelago located on the east of the planet, it has a more diverse climate with extremely cold islands tot he north, and tropical islands tot he south. Lastly there is Mulez, a smaller contient located tot he far south of the planet, with a reletivly neutral climate. Biology: Krahar has many organisms living on it. Flora: most floral lifeforms use spores to reproduce, many are semi-parastic, or parasitic in their early life. Fauna: most fauna on the planet has 2 eyes, and four apendages, they are usually covered in either scale’s or feathers, most animals are warm-blooded. Sapients: Haztagari
Type: sapients. (you may use. Please PM though, as I’m still figuring stuff out.) Name: Haztagar (plur. Haztagari) Distribuiton: ~60 planets Disposition: Imperialistic. Slightly xenophobic; convinced of superiority. Will generally not get a long well with civilliasations that stand in their way. Will get a long with civilliasations that submit to them, or try to help them. Hard to ally, but not imposssible. Tech Level: early to mid FTL age. FTL type: Wormhole’s Biology Diet: omnivorous, slight preference of meat.
Lifespan: 20-30 years naturally, can be upped to 40-50 years with technology.
Description: Long serpentine body. About 2m long. Back is covered in furry feathers. 50cm of tail is not covered in anything, and is completely naked. At the end of tail, their is a two fingered manipulative appendage. Belly is covered in large scales (similar to the belly-scales of a snake or crocodile). Side’s and head is covered in smaller, blue scales. Long, dragon-like head, with two pairs of eyes, and sharp teeth. Sexual dimorphism: female’s are bigger than males. Male’s feathers will be vibrantly coloured, whilst those of female’s tend to be grey. Males have a small horn on the front of their mouth for ritualistic fights.
Society Goverment(s): Kingdom of Hebaria. Constitunial monarchy, with two monarchs (a male and a female) ruling at all time’s. Three main democratic constitutions: the High Council (bascicly the noble parliament), the Free Council (the parliament of common people), and the Working Representative (representative that the Working Caste elects to represent their needs). Xeno’s are forbidden from entering the goverment, and in most cases voting.
Religion(s): Whegharism, the believe in two creator deities (and sometime’s their multiple incarnations) a male and a female one. It is believed that the Haztagari are their chosen represantive’s on this realm.
Other: The Heztagari have a strict caste system, with four main caste’s: the King/Queen, the High Caste (nobility), the Free Caste (common folk), and the Working Caste (‘slaves’ with limited freedoms). Some argue that there also is a ‘xeno’ caste, which has limited freedoms, but is usually forced to work in less pleasant jobs. Even though both Heztagari genders have equal rights, there is still a tradition on what female’s and what male’s should do. Female’s are expected to perform more ‘organising’ role’s in society (military officer, architect, school principal), whilst male’s are expected to perform more ‘active’ role’s (soldier, builder, teacher). There are of course many exeption to this, but it’s more common to see it applied.
Importan Figures Megrher Vasgaher, Querto (king) of Hebaria.
Zwafltel Vasgaher, Vasqher (queen) of Hebaria
Qreg Voqur, High Elect (basicly Prime Minister) of the High Council
Vasahat Hertar, Free Elect (again basicly Prime Minister) of the Free Council
Qlaar Meguhor, Working Representative.
Xreghe Metrefo, leader of the peacefull protest group ‘Unity and Equality’.
Varq Hromar, leader of the rebelious slave faction Haz Ag Trahem.
-More to come-
(short) History 200 ASE: Kingdom of Hebaria has united the entire Haztagari species under one rule.
150 ASE: Vasgaher Dynasty is formed
300 ASE: The first primitive wormhole drive is invented. Exploration age begins for Haztari species
80 ASE: First sapient xeno lifeform is discovered by Hebarian scientists.
(I might add a longer version later

Nitpicking time (please don't feel insulted)! Astronomy: Rare Green Star (origin unknown) "Origin unknown?" How will you justify getting a nonexistant spectral class for your application?Scratch that, I just had an idea. However, we'll need stories involving other green (or other oddly-colored) stars. Creatures: (im just gonna name the creature groups cause it be an essay to write 387 names) Carbosaur
Carboquatus
Carbovian
Cremates
nomidia
Mopidia
Kremals
Itchus
Scave
Skia
Cephalia
Planktonia
Maggotia
Your list of creatures on Kroxalt lacks descriptions, so it might as well not be there (there's no point in world-building if you're going to leave it up to the reader's imagination). However, if there were descriptions, then this whole thing would be very cluttered without a spoiler like the one I put in. Distribution: Creepus: 100-300 solar systems (approx) Nomid: 1 planet, all around the planet There needs to be something more to explain why the Creepus own 100-300 systems. Are most of them unsettled (given the expensive and lengthy process of terraforming), and simply within the bounds of their territory? Do the systems not actually belong to the Creepus, but they have immigrants living in them (therefore counting as their distribution)? If they're all inhabited, and belong to the Creepus, how do the Creepus answer the logistics of maintaining rule over these systems? Do they lack a sovereign central government (which opens a can of worms into how they're able to make alliances)? Do the majority of them host small settlements reliant on the more inhabited systems (therefore unable to break away)? Most importantly: What are you going to do to avoid godmodding? In this setting, humans have barely left their cradle, and the most advanced races are only advanced due to being built by mysterious precursors. However, here we have the Creepus, who despite being "stupid," somehow get to be the strongest race. This is supposed to be a collaborative fiction, and the Creepus just don't suit the narrative. Biology: Carbon based Lifeforms... Creepus: Egg laying Mammals Nomids: Reptile/Mammal thingy As said above, there's no point in world-building if you're not going to build. All of the species applications here have rich, detailed descriptions of how they look, and paint a good picture for the reader to imagine. Diet: Creepus: Carnivore-Omnivore & Spiceivore "Spice?" As in, Spore? Spice geysers aren't real. Where's the explanation of how Spore-inspired spice geysers occur? The description of the geyser-spotted lands where the Creepus arose? The floral/fungal colonies that release fragrant, edible spores/aero-nectar? The massive industry dedicated to farming this spice which the Creepus treat as a delicacy? Description: Creepus: A bunch of stupid merciful warmongers that somehow invented advanced tech... Nomid: Tribal aliens which live along the creepus... they like to scavange the creepus' garbage for useful stuff which they may use for their tools n' stuff... besides that they are pretty peaceful with the creepus even tho the only interaction both know how to do with eachother is waving... "A bunch of stupid merciful warmongers" and peaceful tribals (therefore an easy target of conquest) leaving each other alone. No way that would happen, not without the two coming to a head in their history. If they're living together, and the Creepus have an aggressive mindset, why aren't the Nomids living as slaves? By the way, "somehow" is the worst word usable for world-building, and, in this context, implies godmodding. If you can't explain how the Creepus are getting by, then how do you justify everything else? What reason does StealthStyleL have to accept this as-is? Society:Government/s: Creepus: Similar to humans but with lesser corruption and more stupidness Nomid: Whatever the Chieftain says Religion/s: Creepus: Christianity Nomid: Atheist Important Figures: No idea... History: Creepus: whatever happens in Thrive-Universe that has to do with them Nomid: same as above Went ahead and made the headers stand out. This makes them much more pleasing to read. Anyway... Religions are unique ideologies with rich histories, and shape the very cultures that host them. Having a religion FROM EARTH is, to put it bluntly, boring and unimaginative. You could put in more effort and write up a religion sharing traits with Christianity (the key attributes being "messianic figure" and "redemption from sin"). However, having a tribal race be entirely non-theistic is just as absurd. The hallmark of intelligence is being able to imagine, and see more than material in matter. When a sapient race is in its infancy, it's going to look at its surrounding environment and wonder how the heck all this is happening. They'll wonder where they came from, and they'll wonder what happens after they die. So they'll start guessing. A lot of guessing will be based on their dreams. And all these guesses come together to form stories, and, as these stories are passed down from one generation to the next, they change a little along the way, and, soon enough, the race has its own mythology. If a sapient race at the tribal level hasn't done any of this, they likely can't dream big... Although, to be fair, that would explain why they're still in the stone age. All of this is just my two cents. Again, this is a collaborative fiction, so we need to work with each other to make something awesome.

mitobox considering the rich history of the word "nitpicking" on this forum, perhaps "constructive criticism" would be a better suited to describe what you're providing. I agree, there's a major lack of detail and explanations and logic.
