i havent seen it but low reviews on steam stopped me from looking further

i havent seen it but low reviews on steam stopped me from looking further From what I've seen, it's not THAT bad, Turtle Rock Studios just misjudged how to handle DLC. While at least not day-one DLC, the combination of having DLC-only characters in an online game, coupled with (I've heard) rather expensive cosmetics was a turn-off for many. Others thought the game was repetitive, with a shelf-life too short for $60. And then there's the dicey nature of online play; an experienced hunter might wind up on a team of doofuses. Right now, the game's free (and has a lot more player approval than last time as a result). The devs are definitely active (they're working on special alternate versions of characters, with abilities and tradeoffs different from their originals).
