Alright, I've done some thinking and I have a plan that I hope will at least keep from going extinct. First, I need a nervous system please.
Any +2's would be very appreciated at this time. +2 to Redwatt50
Edit: Oh well, at least I was the apex predator for a little while.

I will branch from redwatt. If I Can vote now I'll evolve membrane immune to lysosomes. +2 to Stealthstylel.

ADAPTATION TO LOW PRESSURE ENVIRONMENTS.
I'm still at the bottom of the sea and players are starting to move upwards... Can I know who is this apex predator killing of redwatt's purple floaty moss?

I want to be better at being multicellular. (The predator is unicellular, right?) -2 to @bigyihsaun. Thanks StealthStyleL.

Damn redwatt where's all this hostility coming from :0 EDIT: Should we begin speculating what this hell that TheCreator's gonna unleash is? We have 2 turns left maybe we can attempt to plan for it? We're all in the water still so maybe we're getting some new predators?

Phloem, take 2.
I guess he's going to have some crazy mass extinction event happen. Even something as simple as a super volcano affects all corners of the world, so even my deep sea guys aren't 100% safe.
+2 to zer1000.
EDIT: zer1000 thx

I think bigyihsuan is the predator of redwatt and deandactyl is the general apex predator.
Edit: Thanks for the +2's

noooo muh rolls If I'm seriously that behind, I'm just going to be a predator and make some other person go extinct. Or I could go passive and have my species farm Redwatt50 cells in exchange for protection. I get food, you get protection

What niche do I fill up I'm a bit confused about my place in the environment

It involves trapping Redwatt50, or any other species, inside myself.

I will branch from redwatt. If I Can vote now I'll evolve membrane immune to lysosomes. +2 to Stealthstylel. You can vote, but I don't think its possible to become immune to lysosomes unless you form a cell wall with cellulose or something similar (though people could still evolve to counter your evolution). I think the best idea for you would be to develop slime that prevents phagocytosis, or to grow in size, so that nobody can physically engulf your cells. bigyihsuan is the predator killing of redwatts cell colonies (I don't think you can call them moss just yet). Deandactyl, on the other hand, is the apex predator at the bottom of the sea. You need a 5 or above, but that should work. No need to speculate, here is what I am going to do: I will roll a 6-sided die and determine the type of the event: volcanic (1) meteor (2) climate change (3) virus (4) plankton bloom (5) NPC species (6) Finally, I will roll and multiply the result by the first roll to determine the event strength, ranging from localised, single turn events (1*1), to dramatic, permanent changes to the environment, to a potential (but-improbable) mass extinction event of all players. Same niche as deandactyl, except he is slightly more adapted than you are (don't ask me how). But if you vote correctly, you might be the next apex predator. As long as your cells are big enough, this should work. Anyhow, what's your vote?

Man I have no idea... I'm lost in this game d:
Do I want to be the apex predator at the bottom of the sea or do I wanna float at the surface like the other peeps... What is even necessary.. I guess I'll go back to chemotaxis first just so I can start running away from stuff if anything comes by I guess? I don't know gosh.
EDIT: Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated!
