For all of us wanting to have a go at the sandbox planet creator, I want to know what planets you'd like to make. I don't know if we can do a "time stop" where we can observe our creations as is, or if we can choose the computer to auto-evo. But, I've got a few in mind that I'll make when the time comes.
1. The fish rule the land: Picture a planet where the only vertebrates left were fish. And the only ones that can conquer land again are fish. That's the goal of this planet. Set at auto-evo, The only animals to be noted are the creatures based on today's(and maybe the past's)land walking fish such as: Snakeheads, Bichirs, Walking Catfish, Eel Catfish, Climbing Gourami, Rockskippers, Freshwater Eels, Mudsuckers, Rivulus, and of course Mudskippers. The purpose is to see which fish can become the most terrestrial and just be able to play God with no consequences.
2. Florida Planet: Compared to the lower 48, Florida is pretty much the Africa/Australia of the United States. Alligators and Crocodiles, Bison and Cougars, and many rare and endangered wildlife. I'd like to recreate my homestate as an entire planet. With of course a few additions to make it more exciting using recently extinct animals that used to live here, like: Mammoths and Mastodons, Horses, Rhinos, Llamas and Camels, Peccaries, Tapirs, Seals, and Terror birds. It's more for an escapism more than anything.
3. A Prehistoric Planet: Of course being on probably everybody's favorite is a prehistoric planet. with a mix mash of animals from all of Earth's history, it is an exciting adventure. Huge flocks of gallamimus, and herds of Platybelodon roam the plains, while groups of Leptictidium compete with Anchiornis in the Jungles.
4. Alien Safari: I'd always like to see a safari on an alien planet, where neon colored grass hides the color of neon colored animals. Here, I'd let my mind run free as I can pull stuff out my Belgium in weirdness. It's my planet, I do what I want.
5. New World: This one's a bit close to me. This planet I've been making creatures for since I was little, and the full diversity is far greater than any game could control. However, I'd like to replicate some of my earlier, more developed habitats, so I can see it function as they do in my head. The detail is down to every temporary creek and weed species. There'd be about 3-4 habitats that'd be filled with the creatures that live there. What will it look like, only time will tell.
Those are my planets I can't wait to build. What will be some of your future planets?
