Would it be possible to have a brain which basically uses multicellar creater as neurons? I don't know a lot about these types of things, but maybe there could be some kind of creatures which link together or something, basically adding their IQ up or something... Could this be possible?

Isn't that how ants and other eusocial hive minds work? Except they use pheromones instead of electric signals.

Honestly, when talking about intelligence itself all barriers break down.
Intelligence arises when different parts communicate with eachother in an abstract way, based on a set of rules. You can in theory make an intelligent system out of rocks given enough space and resources. A brain full of cells communicating with eachother is also an intelligence. I don't see why a bunch of multicellular creatures wouldn't be able to take the job. It would just be really inefficiƫnt I guess. Since all these creatures would also have to regulate their internal systems and own processes.
But hey, your brain is also a bunch of different parts that communicate with eachother. There are even diseases that are caused by miscommunications between different parts of the brain. So the brain could be seen as a bunch of multicellular creatures as well.
But it's all kinda abstract anyway. And this post probably doesn't even make sense.
