Round 3: The First HomesWith many tribes finally reaching their destinations, or realizing the benefits of the land they currently occupy, most tribes have now decided to try their hand at agriculture, turning into the first villages, and by default the world's first civilizations! (sorta, no one really has houses, but plants need to grow first)
serialkiller🌴 - Kometenvolk Tribe
Vote: Farming surrounding area (18)
The Kometenvolk decide that with the help of the newly domesticated Kometenfolger as labor beasts, they would attempt to find plants near the edge of the desert that they could cultivate and survive off of. This goes surprisingly well considering the rather bare and barren area they stopped in. They manage to breed some fruits to become more hardy and last longer in the desert environment. These bushes produce purple fruits the size of fingers that taste very sweet. The plants themselves can last months without water and are well suited to the desert environment and mainly grow in four semi spread out clusters where the land goes from sandy to simply bare and where plants can feasibly live. This allows the Kometenvolk to move around between the clusters and helps draw out some game that tries to eat these clusters and are caught by hunters and the Kometenfolger. The latter also provide mounts to the tribes’ gatherers to move quickly from cluster to cluster and then back to the tribe itself, which is stationed in an area that has a small oasis and water for the group to live on.
This lifestyle, while requiring much hard work, is quite enjoyable to the tribe and the new generation being raised is being brought up in this type of life, as well as a new generation of Kometenfolger who are more use to interaction with the tribe and often pair up with a family which provides them with small game.
Due to their settling down in an area and having sufficient supplies and the ability to diversify their tribe more, the Kometenvolk have become a minor power in the East.

Immortal_Dragon - Tribe of the Hakshah
Vote: Cultivate arthropods as food sources (19)
Efforts by some of the Hakshah to cultivate the arthropods into a stable source of food turns out to be rather simple; the arthropods have a standard caste system, with a queen (about twice the size of a worker, and works as the breeder and chief organizer of the colony workers), king (bigger than a soldier, but smaller than the queen, mainly a breeder but has been seen defending the colony), drones (younger kings) work within the colony, workers (what the Hakshah have already encountered), build the colony and collect food sources. Finally, there are slightly harder shelled soldiers (the defenders of the colony, larger than the workers). Figuring this out, the hunters dig into the ground of one of the colonies, while the soldiers put up a fight and a few people are injured they are easily able to steal a few eggs (the size of a pinky) and bring them back to the tribe, whether through luck or skill they brought back a viable pair of drones and pretenders, who build up their own colonies around the tribe and seem to imprint on the tribe as tributers that take some of the workers every once in a while. In exchange the tribe often leaves small fruits that are inedible to them at the colony entrance and the king itself takes it into the tribe. Oddly, these one seem to be slightly bigger than their wild counterparts, and occasionally even manage to kill small game and present those rather than workers to the tribe. They have also lead the way to water sources that the tribe collects water from.
The tribe has begun to stabilize in size and a new generation is beginning to reach adulthood and have their own children in these strange, grassy lands and their unusual friends that help supply the tribe with fruits and small game.
Whether through luck or skill, the Hakshah tribe has managed to stabilize its food sources, avenge the death of its tribe mates, and settle enough to feel comfortable to raise a new generation in this area, allowing themselves to become a minor power in the North East.
Stability: Solid (2)
Power: Minor (2)
Domestication: Arthropods (hand-sized four legged creatures capable of hive intelligence and used mainly as a food source).
Supplies: Rising food sources due to domesticated Arthropods who sometimes sacrifice themselves, and sometimes bring in fruit and game to the tribal members, as well as a nearby water source.
People: The tribe is feeling comfortable enough in their current predicament, and population is rising slowly, and a new generation is being raised in the grassland.

agenttine -Kore Tribe
Vote: Cultivate River Berries (18)
The Kore leadership has decided to try cultivating berries near the riverbed to give themselves a more stable food source. The efforts by the tribal elders to identify and breed the largest and juiciest berries has resulted in a new breed, one that grows in clumps approaching fist size, and are bright teal. The berry clumps are quite sweet and seem to attract some game towards the river, which has boosted food production in two areas; both fruits and game. This increased production has led to a population boom, and the tribe is now spread out across both sides of the river and a few are even traveling down and up the river on small groupings of wood, which have been termed rafts. The Crocigators seem to tolerate the presence of these rafts so long as the fishermen throw some of the smaller fish towards them, and play their pipes. The Crocigators seem to help send the fish toward the fishermen. The Korens have managed to semi pacify the Crocigators, and the berries have proved to be a boon to the tribe.
The Kore tribe is undergoing a population boom due to a rapidly increasing food surplus thanks to the new berries and the aid of the Crocigators, as well as using rafts to navigate and fish on the river. The new generation are naturals on the water, and the use of reed pipes have raised the spirit and unlocked a creative component to the population.
Thanks to the rise in food, population, and natural abilities with the water, the people are coming closer together and the population has managed to make the river their home, and have reached minor power status in the Northwest.
Stability: Sturdy (3)
Power: Minor (2)
Domesticated: Crocigators that help hunters find and catch fish. The new berries breed by the elders in the tribe.
Supplies: An increasing food income due to the fish and small game around the river, as well as the berries and the use of rafts on the river.
Music: Reed Pipes used to corral Crocigators and as musical devices among the youth.
Tech: Boating- Years of living on the Riverside, as well as an increasing population and want to utilize both sides of the river have led to the development of small rafts, these rafts cannot hold much besides 2 fishers and their daily catch, which is minimal but still better than trying to cross the river on foot
People: Rapidly increasing population due to more food and more space. The new generation is being raised as fishers and musicians around the river.

holomanga - Tribe of Tiluceria
Vote: Make Clearing (5)
As they moved west, the Tiluceria have finally managed to make it to the forest that they set out for, unfortunately for them, the delay at the beginning of their journey and the delay with the flood has ruined their timing, and as they arrive at the forest the first snow is starting to fall. A cold has stuck the tribe and there have been a few fatalities including the brave leader who came up with the idea to make the net that caught most of their supplies, who has also died. The loss of a large unifying figure in the tribe has struck their moral. On the bright side, supplies are still holding, but for how long the tribe is unsure, most of the forest seems to be hibernating at their arrival. The tribe has managed to make a clearing and set up a few fires to keep warm in a less than ideal place, with cold wind and snow often putting out fires during the night. The losses have not been too much, but even with the birth of a few new people, the tribe is losing population.
The tribe has been losing population, and the food sources have been hard to come by, but the worst of the winter seems to be fading away. The loss of the demigod figure has led to some divisions rearing their heads and some people losing faith in the tribal leadership, but for now the tribe seems to be sticking together, if only due to the rarity of supplies.
Stability: Stable (1)
Power: Tiny (1)
Supplies: Food surplus is being depleted and food sources in the forest are hard to come by due to winter.
People: Loss of unifying force harms moral, the population is falling slightly due to sickness and food loss. A small new generation is being born, but do not have a significant number as of yet.

TheGraveKnight - Xi`thoi Tribe
Vote: Educate the Youth (4)
After the incident with the pack animals, some of the older Xi`thoi members have proposed attempting to teach the children about values the tribe holds dear. You could probably imagine how well it goes when a bunch of older people tell a bunch of younger teenagers what to do and how to do it. Not only has this taken time away from hunting and gathering that the teenagers were doing before, but it has created a sense of resentment among the teenagers against the elders and against some other teenagers. The teens have decided to strike back by fleeing into the forest during the education time and have been doing other things instead. This rebellion ranges from trying to collect and hoard their own material to arguments of separating from the Xi`thoi. So far this is just talk and nothing major has occurred. In not quite unrelated news, teenage pregnancy has spiked, and a new generation is going to be born soon. This has also prevented a few hunters and gatherers from doing their jobs, leading to a food shortage.
The tribal population is expecting a boom, with a concurrent food shortage does not bode well for the tribe, nor does the refusal of most of the teenage population to contribute to the tribe, either hoarding for themselves, or refusing to work.
Stability: Stable (1)
Power: Tiny (1)
Domestication: Some pack animals that are largely being used to carry good and supplies, but have not been contributing otherwise as the tribe settles near the lake.
Supplies: Food surplus is being depleted and is not being replenished at a sustainable rate due to teenage backlash against the tribal elders.
People: Tribe is expecting a large boom soon, with teenaged youth often disappearing for hours a day and refusing to work when they return. However, the tribe itself is still relatively together, if only due to the fact that the teenage generation has so far been unwilling to break away due to fear of no food.

NickTheNick - Pyrean Tribe
Vote: Hunt, Gather, and Cultivate (8)
As the Pyrean tribe settles in the hill side for now to replenish supplies, things quickly go wrong. The Pyranism divine message spoke of a chosen holy land to the north, and while the land does look like it could become a good land, it currently does not have much to offer. While there are indeed animals wandering the plains, they are sparse in number, and the high winds and muddy ground slows down hunting groups to the point of being ineffective. Gatherers have managed to collect some small seed and attempted to raise plants, but none of the seeds have borne fruit. These disappointments have led to a divide in the tribe based on their belief. On one side, they think they were tricked, either by false gods or their leaders went the wrong way. Another side thinks that they must continue north to reach another destination. The smallest group thinks that the place is right, but the timing is wrong and they must wait and work the land for it to become their homes. Regardless of who's right, the divide has worsened and the people are getting frustrated with the leadership and each other.
The population has become divided, with some people actively refusing to work with people who do not agree with them spiritually, and some violence has occurred between rival hunting parties, this on top of a food shortage due to lack of prey and a small harvest from plants. The tribe is starting to feel itself being split into us vs them to survive on the never ending grasslands.
Stability: Shaky (0)
Power: Tiny (1)
Supplies: Food is becoming scarce and hunters have had difficulty catching or keeping their prey.
People: Divided based on belief in Holy Land, with clan leaders hoarding resources from their rivals, and arguments over what to do about lack of food

Vote: Realize wanted to move west all along (16)
As they reach the desert the tribal leaders are greatly confused: why is there a desert? Isn't this supposed to be a forest area? This is the exact opposite of what they wanted. Upon questioning the scouts, the scouts reveal they too are greatly confused by what has occurred, maybe the Acirema followed the wrong scouts, or maybe the scouts followed the wrong stars, or maybe the leaders just misheard. Regardless of the reasoning the tribal leaders have broken the news to the people. They are heading back towards the valley to resupply then they will head further west towards the forest. This goes over surprisingly well considering they have spent the last some off time unit going the entirely opposite way. I don't know, maybe they just missed home or want to go back anyways. Anyways the tribe has begun to retrace its steps, and finds itself back on the trail in no time passing the plateau in record time and are nearing the Valley. Along the way they manage to find a small herd of animals to follow, getting rather lucky with it and have followed the herd of two legged avian that stand taller than a normal tribe member. They are not so much hunted as followed for their ability to find water on the way back, with hunter and gather parties peeling off occasionally to keep food at a reasonable level.
Stability: Solid (2)
Power: Tiny (1)
Supplies: Food and water is at a stable level, most of the population is provided for with the small game and berries found. The occasional death of the large birds also provides for food
People: Very confused about what exactly is going on, they are kind of just following the scouts at this point. Birth and death rates remain the same, and the tribe’s population level is stable.

Vote: Scout Local Area (3)
When they were exploring the caves, it seems the Potatorynu missed one very important fact. The ones who left the caves searching for food were the babies providing for their mothers. This does not go well for the Potatorynu. The mothers might have been hibernating when they first arrived, but are now awake and seeking revenge. The subsequent night massacre of many of the hunters who went to the caves to collect supplies has shaken the tribe to its very core, and the loss of valuable and experienced hunters has greatly hurt food supply. The tribe is attempting to recollect itself over the next few days, but nightly raids that seem to carry off some of the weaker and smaller tribe members seems to keep the tribe on its toes, the trees and hills not providing easy terrain for the watchmen. During the day at least the tribe’s gatherers have managed to collect some food, but when they go out, they always come back with less.
Stability: Shaky (0)
Power: Tiny (1)
Supplies: The food supplies are dwindling, but will keep the tribe fed for now, especially if they don't have to feed the same number of members, at the same time there is a near zero replenishment rate, with hunters staying near the tribe or gathered for protection.
People: Went from winning to losing really fast, some of the young have been killed and most of the experienced hunters have done the same. Population is dwindling, but on the bright side there have been more births thanks to the celebration that happened a while ago, so the adult population will grow given time.

Vote: Cultivate non-Ashar Berry population (16)
The realization of the effects that Ashar Berries had on the Orzal tribe has prompted leaders of the tribe to reject the berries as something that would harm the unity of the tribe, and decide as a whole to shift from the harmful Ashar Berries to another berry that they find around the swampy area. The search has concluded in the selection of a berry that, while not possessing the neurotic effects of the Ashar berry, still has a juicy core, the bright pink berries smaller than a fingernail are quite delicious and have been growing in larger quantities around the tribe than before due to efforts from the tribal leaders. The result is a split in the tribal population, on one half the ones who fully accept the transition to the berry and have seemed to be the ones who only rarely ate the Ashar Berry. On the other side is a fanatic cult, who have so violently refused to split from the Ashar Berry that they have come to see as the eggs of a lake fish, known as Mukoi, that holds their world, and have resultantly stolen as much Ashar berries that they could and fled into the swamp itself.
Though they have lost a significant portion of the tribe due to the shrift from Ashar Berries, the ones who have stayed have found their minds clearing, allowing themselves to efficiently harvest the new berries and fish in the swamp, and have experienced a population and productivity boom. On the other hand, this has caused the tribe as a whole to reject the Ashar berries to the point of burning the vines they have grown on, surprisingly after being burned they turn into something harder than stone, and can be carved into various things, such as bowels, which has allowed gatherers to collect more fruits and easier water storage.
Due to the rise in population, the settlement of the swamp, the domestication of plants, and the rise of a rival player in the same region, the Orzal tribe is by comparison a Minor Power of the swamp and the South.
Stability: Solid (1)
Power: Minor (2)
Domesticated: Small fingernail sized pink berries that have replaced Ashar Berries
Supplies: Good amount of food due to new berries and storage techniques, as well as fish.

limeyhoney - Tribe of Limu
Vote: Spread out the population (11)
Realizing the potential of disease or violence between the groups after the flooding, the leadership of the Limu decide to break the tribe up into five different groupings, and spread the different groups across the valley. At first this seemed like a good idea, less people meant less chance of disease spreading, more food for the different groups, easier groups to manage, and so on. The problems came when the various groups began to disagree with the handing out of supplies, with the larger or more affluent groups demanding more while others demanded equal division of supplies regardless of size. When that was solved then the headache became who got what part of the valley, some wanted the rivers others wanted lands that were expected to have a spike in animal activity, and so on. After much negotiation the valley is broken up into the territories of the five groups, with each getting a part of one of the rivers somehow. The five groups then went about and began to collect any resources they could find. While slowly life returns to the valley, and the Limu feel safe enough to say the drought is over, the fact of the matter is that the valley is still recovering, and while there are plants and animals to be had, there simply does not yet appear to be enough to go around, not to mention the groups that did get the prime spots take the majority of the supplies for themselves and are reluctant to share with the other groups.
Regardless, despite the divisions of the tribe, the group seems to be holding stable for now, no one really feels safe to challenge the others and fend for themselves, and the common council of leaders does their best to keep the tribe steady. The population is expecting to rise soon as the animals return, but for now is stable as the various herds that fled the drought seem to be taking their time.
Stability: Stable (1)
Power: Tiny (1)
Supplies: Animals are slow to return to the valley, and the plants will take time to grow, but if things continue to happen then there is hope that more food will be available soon. For now, production is slowly rising and consumption is not yet out competing.
People: The division into the 5 groups has opened up the potential for divides, but the steady leadership and fear of death keep the various groups together while they are expecting a boom in population soon.

February Steam of Foushoo - Mukoi Splinter
Vote: Splinter off Orzal tribe due to Religious Differences (3)
As the Orzal have shifted from the sacred Ashar plant to a more non divine fruit, some members of the tribe have taken that to be an insult against the holder of the swamp, the Great Mukoi, who holds the whole Swamp on its back, and whose eggs develop into the Ashar Berry to supply its chosen people with nutrition, and divine vision! How dare these things not only reject the gift of Mukoi but attempt to replace it with something lesser! This will not stand! And so the followers of Mukoi liberate as many Ashar Plants and Berries as they could, and fled into the swamp. As they fled they encountered much horrors, such as the swamp beasts who attack Mukoi when they hold the world, and many disloyal followers get lost in the swamp. The ones who stayed loyal and on the path, have managed to find their own place in the middle of the swamp, far enough away from the Orzalians to hopefully catch Mukoi’s glance.
The Mukoi splinter has only a few people together with them, and only really has the Ashar Berries as food, but at this point what else could one hope for but what Mukoi has so kindly gifted.
They currently find themselves in a rather peculiar situation, they are in the middle of a swamp, one of the bigger bogs, and have planted some of the Ashar fruits in hope of it sprouting soon, but the Mukoi themselves are rather sparse population wise and have few supplies, they also disagree with one another often and can often be seen drinking the Ashar berries juice, which makes them a little less occupied in the normal plane.
Stability: Shaky (0)
Power: Tiny (1)
Supplies: Mainly Ashar Berries and some other fruits and fish, but the Ashar Berry population is expected to rise as the Mukoi plant some more.
People: The ones that made it to their new home all agree on one thing, the Mukoi has guided them here, on the other hand, that's about all they agree on, often arguing from what to collect from the swamp to even the proper time to partake in the sacred Ashar Berries. That said, the ones who do get along have been seen together often, and hopefully the population rises soon.
Religion: Mukoi (The Great fish, named Mukoi, holds the lake upon their back, and their eggs are the sacred Ashar Plant, which provides nutrition and divine messages to those who know its secret)
Contact: Orzal Tribe (unfriendly due to circumstances of split off, and the desecration of Mukoi and its eggs.)
