So basically I want to try gming a game, but I'm a very indecisive person and this game is for the forum, so whichever of those you guys want to see more of or want to play, then vote. If you have extra ideas then let me know what they are either in the chat or in a pm. This will be my first game so please constructive criticism is most appreciative.
Thank and I look forward to GMing for you.

Group evolution were those games where we focused on one species and chose what to do with it as a group. Like sharpies old one about the sea foxes. It could also be diffrent depending on the ideas everyone throws out.
The RP game is also kinda up to everyone here, we have a few fantasy already, and one of two scifi. Maybe that idea about the "we are all monsters and highest kill count wins" given its Halloween and sounds like fun. I can come up with a plot for anything so long as people want to do it

I personally would like another Civilization game on the forum since I was too late for both of the ones already on here.

I voted for civilisation as well but a Halloween game would be cool too

I voted for another civilization game as well, since the others are quite inactive if not dead.

I think a civ game where each player has a special ability (like in Civilisation) would be cool

I think a civ game where each player has a special ability (like in Civilisation) would be cool But how would this special ability be determined ? (I'm jsut asking because I'm curious)

I though that the player could create one and the game master decides if that ability is too overpowered / weak etc . Another option would be that the game master creates a few and the players can choose which they want (it could be randomized or determined by the start location as well )

Note the question wasn't just for what you want in a civ game, it also applies to a biology game or the rp or the other idea. The planet one is pretty new itself but if you want to expand on that itself then be my guest. Not all ideas will get in but 2 or 5 heads is better than one for ideas. I do reserve the right to reject an idea but that doesn't mean don't shout them out or pm me. Especially with the RP, would you guys rather have sci fi or fantasy or even modern day rp?

For example maybe the first civ to develop mining has dedicated miners so are more likely to find mineral deposits than other civs. That's just an example and other ideas are welcome

While I'm all for trying to create a unique identity for a civ in a civ game, I don't think giving them an arbitrary boost rather than letting the player develop it over the course of the game is the way to go.

I have a small idea I can suggest uh, I was gonna say a sort of "Technology Race" Game? Like, every player starts off with a single thing, but as time goes on they have to invent stuff to surpass the others? Its a silly little idea, Thoughts?

I would love such a game Oh and ThreeCubed that reminds me of a cold war game for some reason ... sounds cool

Or did you have something diffrent in mind?

What do you think about an economy section for a civ game ? So you can create your own currency etc and also have simple relations e.g between inflation/unemployment (Philips curve )?

Hmm, that seems like a good idea, maybe once a civ reaches that stage, maybe a vote that would cause the economy to become standardized. At first, especially with Hunter gather bands, most things would be based on a simple Barter system, or even a collection for Hunter gathers or everything goes into the pot, we could have it develp at some point were such a system is simply unworkable. That's a economic debate though. But a simple economy tab seems like a good idea itself, and the need to find a currency and standardize some things would happen as a civ "evolves" Tldr: at some point in a civs lifetime it would be cool to add in, I might need some help with the actual organization
