i guess the only problem with that is eventually you'll be an animal and everything else could be beyond that.

so how would these creatures fly? even with low gravity, if they couldn't fly like a blimp or bird, wouldn't they be essentially jumping every looooong time? i think they would need something like an air bladder, similar to a swim bladder in a fish.

This is a cool idea. however, instead of making a Freighter a combat ships, make the freighter a freighting ship, or transport, and make dreadnought the giant combat ship.

wait, do the continents in the game shift over time? and when I played spore, I enjoyed going to the history menu and looking how the time has passed, and how it changes from stage to stage.

I think on a frozen planet somewhere there should be a caveman frozen in a block of ice, with his tongue stuck on something like a club.

when I think about controlling an entire fleet, sadly, i think about the planes in the civilization stage of spore. but i think that it would be cool to have a sytem like sid miers civilization, but you aren't forced to use EVERY freaking unit every turn, and that the game doesn't have to be turn based, but it could work that way.

so it's like you can influence the direction your city goes in, but it isn't like stronghold 2, where you're struggling to keep up with every little pesky problem that your peopl;e should be able to take care of themselves?

well, if they can't look pretty I guess that means no hobbit holes but where can you make a burrow? because it would be strange to have a fully destructible world. i think that you should be able to make a burrow only in spots that meet certain conditions, like the type of the soil, the water table, the temperature, ect. ect.

but by reproducing that way, you would be held at the simple stages for a looooong time. and also spider plants are asexual, as well as fungus and their spores. oh and strawberries too!

Oops! I think that was me with the wings thing. I meant for the wings to evolve over many generations, I just forgot to mention that.

i thought that for bioluminescence there would be separate cells and organs that have that quality, because on animals with bioluminescence, the light appears to come from rows of small dots on their bodies, instead of a glowing chunk of flesh.

i have an idea. you could have thick leathery skin like a pachyderm, and yes i know that the pachyderm classification isn't really legitimate.

that is a great question. i think that if you went to another inhabited planet, you would have some sort of spacesuit on, as well as some sort of filter for everything. or maybe your organism has evolved to self sufficient, and not need bacteria for processes like digestion, and you have a super immune system that simply kills EVERYTHING that gets inside it, no matter its chemical composition.

so unlike spore, there won't be a complexity limit? if so, that would be AWESOME! the complexity meter was one of the big disappointing things in spore for me. it ruined the entire idea of creating awesome creature by making you think practical, even in the creator with the more complex cheat that didn't even work.

This reminds me of an episode near the start of dragon ball z called terror on arlia. And when I read this I thought of the bug people as Arlians, just look them up

Well maybe your creature doesn't sleep like a human or a dog would. In the ocean, many animals go into a trance that is still semiconscious and is still alert for danger. This imcludes many reef and open ocean fish, whales, and dolphins. And also, it would be realistic to have animals that hibernate during part of the year, like a desert road or a groundhog.

And also wouldn't burrowing be related to size in some ways? If you're an ant, you can't really burrow into sand like something as large as a badger would. You'd be able too simply crawl through the sand as something the size of an ant.

the way i see it, this game will be more likely to be similar to Kerbal space program in terms of mods. you can always play the game with mods, and it allows things that are not previously capable, but the vanilla never gets old, and it will always be enjoyable to play.

this all reminds me of a weird nineties movie called "water world". gthough it would be really cool to be like the "smokers", and be a pirate in a world like this.

with technological advancement, I think you should be able to have a robot army. to me the enslavement of alien races sounds more like something in a mod, but I'm not sure.
