I'd like to join in this too if that's alright with everyone. I tried to put up my character's info here too but lost it all due to a glitch with my browser.

Synthetic character!
Name: MB-3V1H7
Species: A lowly utility drone of the MechaNexus Corporation’s MB line.
Appearance: Standard MB-Class Service Automatons have an external resemblance to cuttlefish, and are about the size of a small car. Their hulls are industrial-grade and painted a pristine white. Their arms end in appendage ports, which can have a multitude of tools attached. On the opposite end is the charging port, with a blue-and-gray-striped rim. In between are four white, vertical “cans” resembling airplane engines, which serve as propellers. These can be adjusted to turn or pivot. When used, they emit a wispy blue light out of the propulsion end.
Technology: MB-3V1H7 is designed for EVA usage, especially for space stations and large vessels. On the lower end of artificial intelligence, it requires commands (usually broadcasted remotely) to perform activities, although it is capable of basic reasoning skills when carrying them out (the most important sort being the ability to judge intentions, rather than interpret literally). Its appendage ports will only accept tools that are officially compatible, although tools that are used for manipulation help work around this constraint. Its hull is resistant to heat, radiation, and corrosion, as well as most kinetic impacts.
Backstory: MB-3V1H7 is a recent addition to the space station’s drone workforce. Its quality and functionality have been assured by a quick yet thorough inspection process at its manufacturing facility.
Other: As stated, the MB series is designed to operate in space. Instances are also compatible with in-atmosphere urban settings, but they are not all-purpose machines. Under no circumstances should MB-3V1H7 be submerged in liquids while active, especially in ones that conduct electricity.
Current action: Awaiting commands.

Pretty big. Not sure how to describe its size accurately, but it's pretty darn big.

think about it if you want to be a space pirate your ship have to both be large enough to carry resources and strong enough to defend itself from intergalactic fleets other pirates plus it would be destroyed when raiding space stations

Alright, here's my character:
Name: Ta'nib ("Tah-Nib")
Species: Qolriq
Appearance: An arthropod species, with a centaur-like body plan, held up by six legs, while having two pairs of arms specialized for manipulation. Exoskeleton is always some variation of a dark amber color, with individuals possessing a unique pattern of bioluminescence that can be lit up at will. Their faces possess two pairs of compound eyes placed for maximum visibility on the front and crown of their head, and their mouths are framed by four mandibles. Spinnerets are also present on the abdomens of both sexes, and are most often used in the weaving of clothing, particularly their signature cloaks of hide and cloth.
Technology: Early Space Stage, reliant on cryogenic suspension to travel interstellar distances, and kinetic weaponry is the norm as is carrying of melee weapons. Due to scarce resources on their home world, Qolriq technology is built to be easy to maintain, and durable against the wear and tear of time and a harsh environment. It's also easily recycled into being used in other ways, such as in other pieces of technology.
Backstory: The Qolriq originated on the planet of the same name, a planet dominated by arid deserts and plains due to being close to the inner edge of their system's Goldilocks Zone, with few temperate areas and small ice caps on both poles. They have made a living in large hive-structures led by polygamous Queens, where they burrow to access underground resources and reservoirs of water to supplement the scarcity of the surface. As such, this has made them adamant practitioners of recycling, as very little is wasted in each and every process that is carried out. As they achieved space travel, and thus made contact with other similarly advanced species, they have made it a habit of purchasing surplus and scrapped technology from their peers, and for their tech level their technology is highly efficient, even if it isn't the best at its function. This tendency has earned them a reputation as the galaxy's recyclers/garbage collectors. Ta'nib himself is a member of his hive's (Hive Caz'ixi) technology acquisition guild, and is tasked with scouring the galaxy for new pieces of technology to send back to his guild for study and possible integration. He has his guild's backing and resources to do this, which allows him to do some costly spending if the need arises.
Other: A Qolriq's cloak is an almost sacred garment to all individuals, and as such it is the only thing you'll see one wear out in public, as they only ever take it off when in private and in a place where they feel safe. Trying to grab or tug on the cloak can result in a harsh smack to one's hand at the very least, as well as a very irritated Qolriq to deal with immediately afterward.

I'd like to join too, but more as an observant/ detached character Name: Faa'Ra (pronounced Fa[long a]'[short pause]Ra [hard R short a]) Species: Wangay The Wangay have originated on the planet Vos. The planet Vos does not spin on it's own axis, so there is no day and night cycle. In fact due to the lack of centrifugal force on the planet, and some freak geology the oceans have acumilated on the poles of the planet. Thus the planet Vos has a number of continents spanning it's equator in a more or less ring-like fashion. These continents are plagued by strong superstorms, due to the atmospheric preassure differences on the night and day sides. Because of this the Wangay have never developed any serius agriculture. It is practiced only in protected mountain valleys, and mainly to grow tree like plants for their wood. The Wangay Society is split into 3 social castes (allthough changing caste is perfectly possible and accepted it rarely happens) Caste no1 are the "Stationarys". They live in permanent settlements in the Mountains that dot Vo's continents in suprisingly regular intervals. Each "range" often only consists of no more than 4 or 5 mountains, so they provide shelter for more or less one big city. The "stationaries" are specialised part of population, the politicians, factory workers, wood-farmers, city dwellers, metalurgs etc Caste no 2 are the "Travelers". They roam arround, gathering (the plentifull) plants, herding animals and so on. Traditionally they make up the biggest part of the population, since only those specialists who absolutely can't be mobile will live as "Stationarys". During the Storm season (wich uccurs every few months for 2-3 weeks) the Travelers will seek shelter in the mountains, in artificial bunkers or semi protected folds in the land Caste no3 are the Storm Dancers. They are the few crazy Wangays who dare brave the Storms, who travel seemingly unimpeded by Hurricanes and Tornadoes. They are have many roles in Wangay society, some are traveling judjes, teachers, entertainers. While the Wangay are not united as a nation, the strongest Mountain state of them all, Mordgar has recently begun a space program. The few Wangay who have so far migrated to space have retained their nomadic lifestyle traveling from spacestation to spacestation in clan-groups. Fa'Ra however is a Storm Rider and travels alone, seeking to witness strange events in the galaxy and tell stories of the deeds he saw, to tell of hearts won and empires lost, to write balads of evil borne and good repaid, to sing songs of loss suffered and pain endured. Technology: Primitive spacefaring but they readilly adopt technologies of races they encounter on their travels Appearancs: Humanoid but shorte and more heavilly built, with tough skin and strong limbs Sorry for the huge post. This got longer than I expected mitobox MB-3V1H7 tell me of this station, please. The tides of the universe haave braught me here, without me knowing where I am, or where the nearest of my people may be

It is preferred that you start somewhere near the space station so you're not alone when you start.

Alren "I see an other unkown vessel in the distance, should we respond or not ?"
OOC: I forgot to mention that Alren wears a yellow 'shirt' with the Talrl corp logo on it, it only covers apart of his torso. Bolrjg usily don't wear cloths (as they already have afur, and their planet is warm enough as it is), but some Bolrjg wear clothes to indicate they practise a certain job (e.g politician) and thus be more easily reconizable, Alren's shirt indicates his position as a trader.

Bekseeib Belgium! I was fixing my communications and didn't see the station! Is it okay? Please don't shoot.
