A planet with low gravity could have densely packed colonies of microscopic animals and plants in the air. There could also be giant flying creatures who filter feed in the sky(example, the sky whales from Blue Moon).Organisms like this have the potential to becoming as large as blue whales. Another neat thing is that there could also be flying sardine-like creatures that filterfeed for the plankton. They then form a flying bait ball when flying predators come over looking for somthing to eat.

so how would these creatures fly? even with low gravity, if they couldn't fly like a blimp or bird, wouldn't they be essentially jumping every looooong time? i think they would need something like an air bladder, similar to a swim bladder in a fish.

How about a bladder full of light methane gas the creature can produce itself?
