The Rithumeri The Rithumeri are a race of bipedal arthropods with a caste system consisting of queens, workers, warriors, and musicians. Members of the highly valued musician caste (seen here) are born with specialized forelimbs and wings which produce different musical tones when rubbed together. The musician rithumeri are the ones that are given the opportunity to court the queen by playing for her and the rest of the caste. If the queen enjoys the performance, the musician is given the opportunity to mate with her. If the queen does not enjoy the performance, the rest of the musician caste will descend upon the failed performer and feed his remains to the queen.

Yeah some parts (the back plating and wings), are from the Dark Injections mod. The arms and legs are from the Creepy and Cute parts pack.

The Creepus Empire from Terra (this is actually the species ima go for when thrive comes out) the creepus empire are well known in their sector of the galaxy for their alliance and enemies and the strange fact that they are so advanced in technology yet are stupid... even when they were never uplifted... probably the reason might be of the new game Carbodon Go by Cruasar games, a creepus game company... (ud get the refernce...) anyways the creepus empire's tounge consists of weird sounds like a horrible horrible beatboxer that doesnt even sound like music but instead like he took a gallon of bitter medicine... but some are born with advanced vocal cords which allow them to talk their language but they can also do human like noises... its a weird evolutionary thing that happenedall of a sudden while in the medieval times... the reason for this is due to the slight radiation around their planet caused by the myogae causes mutations but the radiation is weak egnough for it not to kill the creatures of terra but evolve them faster than any other creature in the world... all the speciesw of terra evolved in just 12,000,000 years, way fast... the creepus empire have an alliance with humans, reptilians, and barkys, aswell as some oother alien species... they are also in war against the Zorkar empire... and besides this stuff there isnt really anything elso to say about the Creepus... they are just... things that evolved and went to space... they are classified as egg-laying mammals... here are some pics... Male Creepus Female Creepus Creepus Emperor Khalix (they look like pickles) welp thats about it for the creepus FOR NOW... more species from Terra coming soon... ive got the whole ecosystem in spore... even an adventure of the late cretateous of terra...

Here's my creature: Anthropoidclick to enlargeTaxonomy: Agens Morbi avg. Height: 7'1" avg. Weight: 273 lbs (~124 kg) Distinctive Features:-Elongated Ears -Hexapods, or six-limbed -Eyestalks -Lavender, leathery skin Homeworld: Planet Melera, Vrizia Star System Territory: 11 star systems Tech Tier: III (Space-faring) Kardeshav Scale: 1.49 Description:Do to their unique anatomy Anthropoid culture is very different from our own. For example Anthropoids have twelve fingers, four fingers each on the upper pair of hands and three fingers each on the lower pair. For these reasons they have adopted a twelve-digit number system, easier to teach children numbers by counting their fingers. In many Anthropoid religions deities have an extra third pair of arms, with five fingers on each hand. Many Laurt believe a five-fingered hand is a sign of good fortune and enlightenment. For these reasons the Oids were enraptured when they first contacted mankind in the 23rd century, who bare five fingers on each hand just like their gods. Some smaller cults of Anthropoid even began worshipping humans as living gods. The Anthropoid's taxonomic name, Agens Morbi, meaning "Agents of Plague," is rooted in their dark history. The Oids exterminated the Shingali race with a pathogen engineered by their chemical weapons department. After their extermination the Anthropoids seized the Shingali's mineral-rich star systems. Neighboring space-faring races, threatened by the Anthropoid's aggressive expansion, entered a military alliance against them. Eventually relations thawed and the Anthropoids agreed to dismantle its biological weapons in exchange for coexistence.

If you've ever played Skyrim the Altmer (Light Elves) are very similar in personality: narcissistic, disparaging and etiquette.

The Lythillians of planet Salurim The Lythillians are a sapient, amphibious species from Salurim. They have sky-blue skin with gold bellies and eyes, a pair of blue mandibles, two fleshy stalks that resemble horns and two tails which are used for balance. Easily the strangest thing about them is their arm structure, research has shown that the Lythillians have a bizarre gene mutation that causes a second pair of arms to grow out of where the regular arm's elbows are. This might seem cumbersome at first, but the Lythillians have evolved a strong lower body in order to support the extra weight of said arms. Although sapient, they are largely solitary and only craft primitive tools and shelters.

Sorry for reviving a dead thread, but I made some floaty creatures on Spore and I didn't want to start a new thread for them. Magenta Floater - A very peculiar sapient creature that uses a large, balloon-like sack of gas on its back to float around. The long, thin tendrils next to the eyes are manipulators. Observer - A mysterious entity, seemingly more mechanical than organic. All it seems to do is watch ominously. Yeah, this one isn't really a creature. I dunno, maybe it's a cyborg? Mystical Guardian - A creature that has been given powerful abilities by a godlike alien empire. It's guarding... something. Not sure what exactly. Most of these creatures' bodies are composed of leg segments used in a way that imitates muscles. All of these, except for the Magenta Floater, use the infamous invisible limb glitch to float around. This gives them a pretty cool movement animation. Magenta Floater Animation (kinda lame)Observer AnimationMystical Guardian AnimationI might redo the Tireeie using the limb glitch, because currently it just drags itself across the ground like a slug.

If you combine all three of them (floaty, biomechanical guardian), you get the Huragok from Halo.

I used mods to make this creature that I imagine being in a time period comparable to the Cambrian period. It is called the loricatorum erucae, meaning "armored rocket". It gets this name from its ability to jet through water at incredible speeds by flattening its extremities and using its powerful back tentacles to propel itself forward at around 30 mph. It only does this in short bursts for about 3 seconds. It does this to quickly snatch unsuspecting prey into its powerful jaws. Its color helps it to blend into the environment. It also has eyes that can be signaled to glow. It uses this to see better at night, while also using it as a basic means of communication with others of its species, such as signaling when it is ready to mate. Attachments:
