TIL that cells can't actually be herbivores or carnivores because plant and animal cells are technically still cells...SKEWWWWW U SPORE!!! Well, technically it would be possible to have a cell which preys on "plant cells" (You know, the stationary ones which usually have chloroplasts and cell walls). Also, most herbivores are actually opportunistic omnivores. With that I mean that they usually eat plants, but if you give them an animal they could easily eat, they would do it. (For example, I've seen videos of horses eating chicks that walk too close)

(For example, I've seen videos of horses eating chicks that walk too close) Well, I guess that technically is true. But plant and animal cells have the same concept, like they both have a membrane, both have a cytoplasm, both are in one way or another the same thing, just plant cells have more organelles. So my point is that that cells are the basis of living things (not literally I know), and at the cellular level all cells are the same in a way (same base organs(nucleus, Chromosomes.)) while animals and plants are almost completely different means of reproduction, getting food, defense. So a cell feeding off another cell isn't really a carnivore or a herbivore, but rather a heterotroph. I see your point though.

In every year at school there's always that one person who is devoted to horses. I want to find that person in our year and show them this video.

TIL that in april of last year, Brazilian scientist have discovered a 9500 km 2 coral reef off the Amazon River. Greenpeace send a boat , the Esperanza, to take the first pictures of it. It really disturb scientists because the water is dim and muddy, the reef is then drowned in the dark and the water is rich in sediments carried by the Amazon River, two elements that made it unlikely that there was a coral ecosystem there. www.foxnews.com/science/2017/01/31/first-images-huge-stunning-amazon-coral-reef-released.html

TIL that Americans are special snowflakes, finance wise. Most of the world calculates interest on a 12 month, 4 weeks, 7 days basis eg. 360 days per year. Only the US HAS to have their own system, so US interest is calculated on a 13 period basis with 4 weeks per period and 7 days a week giving a 364 day financial year and a headache to anybody who has to convert interest per sane-people-year into interest per-US-special-snowflake-year.
