The only color I ever portrayed them as being is this pale blue.
However I imagine, similar to humans, they'd come in varying shades of blue and maybe dip into violet or green a little.
I've regretfully never given it a lot of thought.

Hey Atrox I really liked your drawing of the Cyclorotan Evolution. I made a digital version if you wanted it. That is why I asked for the colours by the way ;). It took me about 5 days and each day was 3 to 2 hours. I messed up a bit on the lighting I think.

As unrealistic as it may seem, if you could get muscles to act like Pistons pushing a crankshaft, you could theoretically have an animal with wheels

this is awesome!!! and now that i think about it this COULD be made in the game!! since u cam make the bones from scratch and make how they move than the wheel can be an external bone that is rotated by mussles that can rotate like the owl's neck!! so YAAY CICLOROTANS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE GAME!!
btw can i draw a skeletal structure of this? i wanna demonstrate how the wheel can be added in the game (no pistons required)

I finished it!! heres how I think the wheel will work and the skeleton would look!! I dont know how to make it move tho... we could make a muscle that contracts and expands acting like a Train's piston but the holder bone is in the way... idk its a bit complicated... but for now this is what I think the skeleton would look like

What's the difference between cyclorotan and cyclid?

What's the difference between cyclorotan and cyclid? Nothing really. I guess if I wanted to actually create two versions, a cyclorotan would be the one that has the leg, while a cyclid has no leg. But really, the cyclid is just an (in my opinion) improved version of a cyclorotan so I'm trying to phase out cyclorotans in favor of cyclids.

they can have wheels if the wheel is growing like claws and then departes and the claws that not have turned to wheels and hold it now.
