If I'm right the next stage is the aware stage? Right? If so I have a idea for the character creation format. Like Spore how the body can be manipulated to bend or stretch, but what if it was a x-plane? Each tile can be filled to create the body and over slowly over time it would simulate evovlution. Body parts don't come instantly, like Spore. Anyways the x-plane can be manipulated like pulling the edges outward to expand work area size. Another feature could be being able to bend the x-plane into a cylinder to form limbs. This would give the player the ability to form 3d models without any 3d modeling software experience. This would also help with reducing the work load for the developers, in terms that they would not have to make presets for everything if the player can make their own limbs. Since also each segement of the x-plane is formed via mutation points it would take time, like evolution. Another thing to note is that each tile can be manipulated so that it can be bumpy or dimpled in. If anyone wants me to make a sketch I would be more than happy to oblige.
