That would be possible, especially with very good rolls, but since I gave Immortal the advice I'll give you some too: Your people will likely be very upset to find out that the land they had just fought an entire war for was being returned to the defeated, particularly a people whom the Confederation accepted and then had turn against them in revolt. It would be very difficult to make your people and the local chiefs consider friendly relations with them. Hmm, true and good point, for now, we'll see how immortal votes in the morning. I'd still like the scouting to find out things about the land around us and the farming to be something of a goodwill mission to improve public relations with the lower classes after the war

I know you said to accept the pact doesn't need a vote, but does trading with them require a vote?

Alright, all things considered, I'll cast my votes:
Vote: Migrate to the West/East (the round says east but you've said west, basically wherever that uncharted territory is), anywhere has to be better than near someone who nearly destroyed us and our allies.
Bonus Vote 1: Establish Ushnuk Skylosism, or Lokhism, which features many of the same tenets (with a more meritocratic bent), but shifts the pantheon into something more general rather than based around the lake. Also comes with the practice of public stoicism for those in a position of power (as flavoring if nothing else).
Bonus Vote 2: Develop a method of food preservation (didn't see it anywhere on my technologies), primarily drying.

StealthStyleL : Yes, initiating trade will. Immortal_Dragon : Sorry that was a typo, it is the east that is uncharted. EDIT: Also, I just realized that the description for the Shaowayan Kingdom was actually still that of the Aeneric League, so I fixed that. Also, the Ushnuks have writing so I added in their population approximation.

Or would you rather my people stayed and possibly raided your own? As Nick said, there's lots of bad blood there so it's probably for the best that our peoples separate for now.

Your people are the rebels and traitors, if you are not willing to submit you should leave quickly, or we will be forced to end this rebellion once and for all. Leave and never return

Your people are the rebels and traitors, if you are not willing to submit you should leave quickly, or we will be forced to end this rebellion once and for all. Leave and never return I know they are, but this may provide an opportunity for our peoples to meet peacefully in the future. If not, then we'll make sure to return when we can stand equal with the Khorati.
EDIT: Also, since I have assimilated some of (if not the remainder of) the Kasrans, would a different name be in order NickTheNick ?

You could rename yourself if you wish. The Kasrans see you as their allies and saviors, so they don't object to the tribe being called the Ushnuk Tribe.

EDIT: In a way, the absorbing of refugees accelerated my plans some as it turns out, I planned for an official merger at some point in the future regardless, perhaps based around a merging of ruling families and such. So, I've got the Khorati to thank for that in a way, not so good for the Kasrans but I got a lot more people out of it who are very much thankful I took them in.

A drought, really? God damn you gods, God damn you! Wait a minute, that doesn't work...
This is the hardest round I've come up against so far. Anyway, I would like to graciously accept the non-aggression pact offered by the Cassanite Kingdom. I'm sure this shall lead to greater prosperity in the future. Hopefully, with the new salt industry and more tin being found, my money is starting to build up again.
Votes:
1. Construct structures to cope with drought. I've actually done some research on how historical civilisations coped with droughts but it seems there was very little they could do about it other than wait it out. But I'm going to try and do something nonetheless: construct wells and canals in hard hit areas.
2. Seize Vandarkia. "Oh you silly man. You cannot defeat me...I'm your Emperor!" Send the army to defeat the General of Vandarkia, and take what is rightfully ours.
3. Initiate trade with the Cassanite Kingdom.
4. First, give the holders of Bucephalus a chance to surrender. If they do not give themselves up, attack Bucephalus and retake it. (By the way, Bucephalus was the horse of Alexander the Great, and he really named a city after it, although I found out he named the city Bucephala)
5. Develop chariots. Now that we finally have horses, I'd like my people use them with chariots. If this is successful, this should boost trade, increase travel and improve the military. In line with that, if it isn't too much to ask, I'd like chariots to be gradually integrated into the military, although not the current campaigns; I don't want them to confuse tactics in the middle of battle. The chariots shall cross the empire, using the road system, bringing food to hard hit areas, and taking and bringing back goods to and from our trading partners, going where are boats cannot travel. Also, if I have more trade, that's more crops my people can buy to deal with this infernal drought. This should make communication quicker too.

vote 1: Attempt to build the great temple at a smaller scale with our new found knowledge of mathematics. vote 2: develop better fertilizer for agriculture. guaranteed reward vote: send a peaceful militia to the northern tribes of the Aeneric League and promise them protection and technologies if they will join our nation. As a group my nation shall call their region "Nafjala" and will get multiple seats in the republic(this depends on how large and diverse this area is). I'd like to call the new city this round "Namikej".

NickTheNick, I just remembered Atrox is no longer taking part as he's taking a break from Thrive.

Do you know how long his break will be? Does he wish to give up his spot? I wouldn't mind waiting for him (if it's not too long) because he has been an engaged and committed player thus far.

Well that's a shame, but if he needs a break then that's his decision.

NickTheNick could you add me to the waiting list or please ? Or is it already too long ?

Yes, you have been added. Aquos : Atrox has left the game, so that means you are next on the waitlist (until Lowry returns). Would you like to take helm of the Sedreti Kingdom, or pass until your next chance?
