Round 5 And finally, the first tribes have fallen. This round, I won't let any of the new tribes be split from the existing tribes, because they are all too small and stable. So instead, if your tribe has been destroyed, you may choose to assume control of one of the NPC tribes. They will be listed below.
Skyguy – Avalon Tribe (Stable Tiny Power)
Food Preservation – 1 (Unsuccessful + adverse effect)
Skylosism – 4 (Limited Success)Avalon attempts to preserve their food have again failed and resulted in famine and disease amonst the tribespeople. As a result of poor governance, disease, hunger, the main part of the Avalon tribe has lost contact with groups that had settled farther away. From the succession of disease and hunger amongst the Avalon tribespeople, as well as the splitting of the tribe and the loss of their technological edge, they have fallen to a Tiny Power. However, over the course of the tribe’s misfortunes, a new religion has emerged centered around worship of the gods of the lake, called the Skylos. The religion has been largely adopted by all members of the Avalon tribe.

Spears – 5 (Successful)Notrea hunters and scouts have developed flint tipped spears, which has helped them both in hunting and fighting off wild animals, but also in protecting against raids from the Norica tribe. Norica raids have diminished, but recent encounters have demonstrated that their raiders have fashioned basic slings, with which they fire stones at Notrean spearmen. The increase in population of the Notrea has also allowed them to field more spearmen to defend against the raids. As a result of the large recent increases in population, the domestication of cattle, and establishment of trade with the Acirema tribe, the Notrea tribe is now a Minor Power.

Their fishermen have been able to use these to go deeper into the river for catching fish, and it has also allowed for closer contact between the members of the tribe on the opposite sides of the river. However, this success was short lived, for attacks from the Crouton tribe have all but wiped out the Dwemer, with the last remnants fleeing into the wilderness for safety. This tribe has been destroyed.

Johnwereright – Foukala Tribe (Destroyed)
Government (Despotism) – 3 (Limited Success)With the tribe on the verge of collapse from hunger, cold, lack of resources, desertion, and competition with hunting parties from the Ekala tribe in the valley below, the tribal leaders decided the best course of action was to establish a religiously guided despotic government to rule the diminishing peoples. Oral traditions claimed Mondul as the young tribesperson who emerged to take this role and lead the tribe. However, the tribe hardly had the population to need a government, and it was not long before the remaining Foukala had perished.

Evolution4weak – Acirema Tribe (Solid Minor Power)
((It seems like the game doesn’t want anyone to develop food preservation))
Food Preservation – 2 (Unsuccessful)
Construction – 6 (Successful with bonus effect)Acireman tribespeople have attempted to develop means by which to preserve their food, yet were unable to develop anything. However, the Aciremans have taken a major step in history by building some of the first permanent structures. Acireman tribespeople have experimented with clay, wood, and other materials they had at hand, and have begun constructing clusters of houses near their fields of wheat and pastures of cattle. These clusters of houses have begun to develop into the world’s earliest cities (You may name your cities as they are founded). These primitive settlements have drastically changed the way of life of the tribe, as there has been a gradual shift from hunting and gathering to wheat farming and cattle raising. This has led to a subsequent boom in population.

aquos – Humla Tribe (Shaky Tiny Power)
EVENT: Wild animal attacks
Government (Priesthood) – 4 (Limited Success)Humlan shamans have developed an organized priesthood to rule over the tribe, named the Nonzuae, and this has been accepted by the majority of the tribe members. However, this has had little effect on the day to day affairs of the tribe because of the low population. Recently, packs of animals (resembling mountain lions from Earth) have been spotted in the hills around the Humlan settlements with increased frequency. Some of these packs have even attacked Humlan hunting and scouting parties. Although there is still a steady amount of food coming in from trade and rice farming, this has led to a big decrease in food from hunting, which is a major source for the tribe.

TheCreator – Crouton Tribe (Stable Minor Power)
Attack the Dwemer Tribe – 3 (Limited Success)In the early morning, at the very first light, the Croutons gathered on a ridge overlooking the Dwemer tribe. Most of them were still sleeping, unaware of the fate they were about to face. The chief Crouton raised his right hand—bow in his left, arrows piled to the side—signaling his tribe. A short moment later a hail of arrows rained down on the camp. The orders were clear, kill all the men, rape all the woman (make us the fathers of their children and boost our population), leave the children (under 7) and elders alone. It was a slaughterhouse. By the time the people of the Dwemer time realized what was happening, it was too late. The Croutons were positioned at a distance, hidden in the mountains. They could easily shoot down all the Dwemer warriors before they got too close. Minutes later it was all over.
Without any way to protect themselves and their children from the harsh environment and facing starvation, the remaining few people of the Dwemer tribe had not choice but to be assimilated by the Croutons (bringing into the tribe the knowledge of fishing and making fishing tools). Eventually, they intermarried and within the course of a few generations, no-one remembered the conflict.
At least, that’s what the oral traditions of the Croutons said. In actual fact, Crouton tribal leaders realized the vulnerability of the Dwemer tribe, and with hunting parties equipped with bows and arrows, launched a series of attacks against various settlements along the river. The Croutons were extremely effective with their archery, but still suffered many losses against the Dwemer that fought back. Eventually, most of the Dwemer had been killed or captured, and the survivors fled into the wilderness, leaving the Croutons with free reign to hunt all throughout the valley and access to all the Dwemer stockpiles of resources. They have also seized the Dwemer fishing spears, which they have proliferated through their tribe and begun crafting themselves.
Unfortunately, from a long period of hunting from both Crouton and Dwemer tribe members, many of the animal herds in the valley have diminished or migrated, leaving the Croutons with not much food to last them into the future.
Regardless, due to their conquest and assimilation of the Dwemer, the Crouton tribe is now a Minor Power.

NPC TribesNorica Tribe - A nomadic tribe settled in the plains north of the Notrea, dependent on gathering, hunting, and raids on Notrean herders.
Ekala Tribe - The tribe of people that split off of the Foukala in the mountains, now inhabiting the tropical valley south of those mountains.
Avalon remnants - Small groups of tribespeople formerly part of the Avalon tribe, but who have recently lost contact and are living on their own. They are scattered and divided, and currently do not comprise their own tribe, so you would be assuming control of one of these groups and making it into a new tribe.
