Well, my chloroplasts will keep me alive. Time to go multicellular! I mutate signaling agents as my reproduction roll and bonding agents as my usual roll.

H-hey guys! So yeah...I didn't realize everyone had posted. I'll just, post. Soon. @unknown what do you mean by a chemical that can replace eyes? Like an IR sensitive opsin? Longisquama you're chloroplasts were a four, however since that was a sex vote instead of a normal one, the roll had no effect. Just bear that in mind. edit: I grossly mismanaged the beginning, a major update to the rules post that I just made should clear things up going forward.

Round 7:
Event: N/A
SkyGuy98: (Active Photosynthesizer) Mutation: Vertical Gene Transfer (4) Description: E. cieloviri has now developed the capacity to combine its genetic information with a mate in order to produce genetically distinct offspring. This will lead to greater advantages being available to future generations. Previous Mutations: Mitochondria {2} Flagella {4} Better Mitochondria {5} Phagocytosis {3} Chloroplast {6} Conservation Status: VU
Robotranicrex: (Active Phagocytizer) Mutation: Communication Molecules (5) Description: Discus roborexi is now able to effectively draw members of its species close together and then employ its binding proteins to form a colony. This species has become the first fully fledged multicellular organism on the planet, and as such it finds itself facing new opportunity for advancement. While colonial life has advantage, it is also energy intensive. This species will soon need to focus on life support measures to maintain its size. Previous Mutations: Flagella {5} Mitochondria {5} Vacuole {5} Phagocytosis {4} Binding Proteins {6} Communication Molecules {1} (anti attracting) Conservation Status: VU
Unknown: (Active Lancer) Mutation: Eyespot (2) R: Atrox's Phagocytosis (2) Description: E. obscurus has not gained the ability to employ phagocytosis. It has developed an eyespot, however the opsins it contains do not stay clustered locally, instead spreading out over the entire membrane. This is immensely expensive in terms of energy, and the resulting information gleaned from the environment is almost useless. Previous Mutations: Flagella {5} Mitochondria {5} Cilia {4} Horizontal Gene Transfer {4} Predatory Pilus {5} Low Pressure Tolerance {5} Conversation Status: NT
Longisquama: (Active Predator) Mutation: Binding Proteins (2) R: Signaling Agents (6) Description: E. longisquamae has the most advanced signalling molecules in the ocean. They offer high levels of coordination when "hunting" and the species can form large communal gatherings for mating. Unfortunately, when they attempt to bind with their binding proteins, they just end up puncturing each others' membranes. Previous Mutations: Mitochondria {7} Vertical Gene Transfer {4} Flagella {4} Low Pressure Tolerance {6} Phagocytosis {2} (hit or miss) Conservation Status: VU
Bigyihsuan: (Active Predator) Mutation: CO2 Vacuole (2) Description: Altus magnayihsuanae now has a central vacuole which is capable of holding CO2. Unfortunately, it has very few control mechanisms, and so it tends to overfill and cause the cell burst. It does however allow for rapid changes in water column level, and this species is now the first one that can reasonably approach the surface. Previous Mutations: Mitochondria {4} Cilia {6} Cilia Aided Phagocytosis {4} Adhesive Proteins {7} Low Pressure Tolerance {4} Conservation Status: LC
Atrox: (Active Predator) Mutation: Vertical Gene Transfer (3) Description: M. atroxi is very similar to past generations. Previous Mutations: Mitochondria {1} Improved Mitochondria {7} Cilia {1} (spiky poles of doom) Flagella {4} Bracing Proteins {4} Phagocytosis {5} Conservation Status: LC
Achievements: First to Reach Land: One additional vote that will have a +2 applied to it. First to Drive Another Species Extinct: A guaranteed super mutation.
Question: TheCreator is upping the difficulty in his game, would you like that to happen here?
Behind the Scenes: I will place you into proper tropic levels once you become multicellular. I'm hard at work making up new species names as well.

Vote: low pressure tolerance Sex vote: vacules that can be used to go closer to surface What do you mean by upping the difficulty?

By more difficult I mean more often disasters, more punishing disasters, or more severe disadvantages.

Hmm, you're the gm so ultimately up to you, but I'd wait until everyone is in a more stable position first, unless you want to drive evolution a certain place.

I always welcome a challenge, even if the odds are stacked horribly against me.
I seem to be behind but sure I say let's make the game harder.

RoboTrannic I hate to squelch individual ideas, however without a vascular system, a heart is not exceedingly useful. edit: if you want to risk a roll, I would give you a vascular system with a super mutation unrelated edit: everyone should feel free to tell me if I miss something or if you don't like the way I'm handling a mechanic. I'm doing this so that you have the most entertaining experience possible, so let me know if you aren't.

Ok, so I reroll phagocitosys for the usual roll and binding proteins for the reproduction roll.
PD: so how much I need to get in the reproduction roll to be successful?

Longisquama I added the roll values to the rule post on the first page for reference. When a roll is done with vertical gene transfer, a roll of 1-2 is bad. 3-4 is no effect. 5-6 is success.
