I had an idea for a forum game on creating a language. Though I don't think I'll have the time to take it to fruition. The mechanics go something like this: each player plays some mixture between a god and a language builder for one tribe/population of speakers. all the first speakers will likely start with grunts but, and I'm not sure about this mechanic so you can change this if you decide to take it, the player responds from a list of relevant words(sky, earth, fire, ect.) conjured by the game master from new things to the player's people's livelyhoods with a word for that English word. This tiptoes possibly around the recent rule against few word posts so perhaps there could be an event mechanism or spreading mechanism to add story to the posts and votes. Just an idea because I have quite alot of fun making conlangs and a forum wide conlang sounds awesome. Perhaps events may cause two populations of the same language to separate creating a new language that can be given to a new player. I feel I might try to take this to fruition with a bit of a "Thrive Civilization Game" flare. no promises though it is alot to take on. Hod Civilization Evolution Game(Part 2) I plan to call it.

Got this idea after watching "Memento."
Basically, the idea is for a forum game with multiple players, but played by only one at a time. The current player operates through a message conversation with the GM, which goes on for a set number of turns. After that number is completed, the round is over and a different player is contacted for the next round. Actions can include leaving information for players down the line (by writing things down, etc.).
Since we don't have an infinite number of players, the GM may have to settle for the player character having multiple personalities, rather than memory loss.
One interesting mechanic could be players choosing a benefit during their round(s), such as having a higher post limit for a round, or being able to remember pieces of information from previous rounds.

Maybe an evolution game that takes place on a planet that has no land at the water's surface but has chunks of buoyant rocks to rest on with the planet constantly expanding itself. And you have to keep diving deeper as you evolve or the toxic surface will kill your species overtime. You cannot evolve resistance to toxins however so there is an abundance of food for a while at first so you can evolve properly to survive. Eventually you will need to evolve bioluminescence to see in the depths of the planet's ocean. You start as a simple fish with all the fish necessities to be a fish. Anyone like my idea?

Anyone like my idea? that would mean a world full of bioluminescence , which I imagine quite beautiful . Interesting indeed , reminds me a little of the new ARK dlc Aberration
