mitobox can write up a short thing detailing our retreat and 73's disappearance, and we can pick the story back up... Maybe a few weeks after the events of the fields. I'm on it. The fire consumed the Gloobulb field. Its adaptations ensured the survival of its progeny, but the plants themselves became a crucible for the hunters.
The Sisters ran into the forest. Both were frustrated by the destruction of their refuge, but they knew where else to go...
Our heroes (save 73, as far as they know) managed to find their way out of the field in time (but not in time to save Oblign from being covered in Gloobulb flowers). Revver in particular was able to use his modified hard light generator to create a ramp, allowing him to make a long jump for safety.
Once the tongues of flame reached the hover tractor, it exploded in a brilliant blast of cyan. A shimmering cyan cloud floated above the field. The explosion of fuel could be toxic.
Our hunters have reached the Uetiko victim's house. It's made of grooved, gray meta, tinted orange from the firel. The front door has one of those hooked handles, rather than a knob. The window is also there.
It has been almost an hour, and the shadowy being known as 73 has not reunited with the group. The fire still rages, and the haunting cloud still remain. Fire department vehicles like those used in the factory incident have mobilized. Already, their shrill howls can be heard approaching.

Marcphan sets his backpack on the ground, pulls out the mobile device, and searches for nearby hotels. "Seems it's night here already. Should prooobably find a place to stay," Marcphan says to himself. Reposting this because I can.

Okay so just wondering mitobox: Have we been running for almost an hour and just reached the house, or have we been hiding out in the house for almost an hour? If it's the latter can we get a description of the interior?

Not inside of the house, but you have been waiting outside for nearly an hour, either waiting for 73 or for Oblign to pull all the sticky flowers off.

Gotcha Revver removes his helmet in frustration. " I've called 73 twenty-three times with no response, I think it's safe to assume he's gone." limeyhoney you're up

"I think I am going to change to a longbow. That would make it faster to reload. "Well, if he is gone, do we just leave then? What do we do next Mr. Tech?"

"Augh, these things again! I'd thought I had enough after that last ti - wait, how did none of these stick to you guys? Am I really the only one that got a new Gloobulb coat?"
After a few moments pause and a sudden realization, Oblign laughs while he removes as few of the flowers that had adhered to his tail and chest, then forms an oddly sticky mess that he proudly declares as a bouquet to his so-called beloved, despite that a majority of the pieces are bent or wilted.
"Hey... Limmy, you think these match my eyes? How about tipping your bolts with these, aye?"
"C'mon! I can almost feel the flames of my passion rising up and - ow!" Crimson and covered in irritating indigo patches, the hunter is jabbed by his companion just under the rib, he winces at the feeling.
"You know now is not the time, as usual, Oblign."
He points out towards the field in reply. "I mean, yeah... but c'mon we could've died back there in that horrible fire. I've gotta make sure I let each moment counts... so that Limmy doesn't forget my love!"
"...I do believe I'm officially done with this running gag. Limmy?" Eprist says as she glances over at the Grenebolym, "He's yours to deal with now. Best of luck to you. Also do be mindful, he snores terribly some nights."
"Now, as for your newfound and possibly newly lost friend, I... well, I am very sorry. I do realize that the outlook is rather grim for this being as of the moment, and apologize for this brief and... interesting conversation. But maybe we should head inside? From what I do understand, I am sure that, wherever he may be, this 73 is very capable."
"O-oh yeah!" the other Stygian joins in once more.
"Pretty sure the dude is on fire out there! Just blazing a trail, capturing those Uetikoes."
"Was that really necessary, I mean now of all times, Oblign? Ugh, anyway, Limmy is right. What say you, Revver? I would say this is more your call than anyone else's as of the moment."

"The Nova Hotel..." Marcphan says. He shuts off the device and puts it back into his backpack. He puts the backpack back on, and heads north towards the hotel.
"So I'll stay at the hotel for a while, then I'll begin Hunting," Marcphan thinks aloud. "Perhaps I could look in the fields?" Marcphan eventually arrives at the hotel.

Revver sighs and looks out into the fields. The fire department vehicles hung in the air, gallons of extinguishing fluid being sprayed into the blaze. Nonetheless the fire didn't seem to be dying any time soon.
"The fire's still burning so it's too dangerous to try to leave. Yeah I guess we should wait inside until the fire crew takes care of it.
Revver holds the door open for the other hunters before going inside himself. He takes in his surroundings.

The door opens with no resistance, only a creak. The lights are off, but there's a foul smell. The door leads to a small entrance room, with a small entrance room to the left. In front to the left is another door, straight in front is a hallway. To the right is another door.
Down the hallway is another room faintly illuminated by moonlight. From here, there seems to be a desk. There is also an open passage on the hallway's left wall, and another door on the right.

The entrance is rather low-populated, since most have retreated to their rooms for the night. An Escgra is working at his computer. A few guests are sitting at tables to the left, watching a TV showing a burning field. A gray-hided crocodilian/spinosaurid creature is at a vending machine to the right.

Sorry. I forgot Thouartmore... is not here. " So I guess we get to snoop around now?" Limmy walks down the hall, and turns left into the dark corridor.

Is there anything i need to know Some things you need to know: •The plot: I suggest reading through some of thread to get the gist of how the game goes. •The turn system: The game is turn based. The order goes Atrox, limeyhoney, Rowdy, Narotiza, evolution4weαk. •Time limit: You have 24 hours to post before the next player in line is allowed to skip you. If you don't post for a while we'll continue the game without you. •Rules: The rules are in the OP so I hope you read that. Other than that there's nothing else you really need to know. Just make a character, post it here, and take your first turn when it comes around.

"Zoinks! Okay gang, whatever we do from here, we better not split up to look for clues. This place just looks way too ca-ree-py, so if my love for a certain post-70s cartoon about a stoner and his talking dog won't fail me, it's now. ...also, watch out for anybody named Jenkins, especially if he happens to go by the title 'Old Man.' "Oblign says as he suddenly recalls a particular comic he viewed once while skimming that which he affectionately refers to as the "Earthternet." Probably one of their best inventions, although he notes that even at this moment, they neither have smell nor touch-o-vision. At least 3D glasses will never go out of style. Inside of Oblign's mind: Eprist shakes her head in disapproval. "This abode is rather small though, Oblign, wouldn't you say? If there is any trouble, we are all not but a moment's length away from one another. Let's both head further into that hallway ahead of us. Since this is where Ovilipa stayed and she was definitely most intelligent to leave a final note, I suppose there's the possibility she left more for others to discover. At the risk of sounding cliche, as I am sure you seem to know, we really should all split up. Limmy is already taking the left, we can take the corridor and that leaves the right for Revver to explore as he may please."
