"Nah Limster, we need to maintain position. Be aware of anything in the distance or any sounds coming from behind or around us. We wouldn't wanna be ambushed by a Uetiko or something far worse, would we now, eh? Stay attentive and alert, but... while we look out from each direction, I guess we could sorta talk. As long as we don't get too distracted, y'know, I'm curious." Oblign says.
"Why're you here, for one thing? You do Uetiko work commonly, man? I'd get that you're an assassin, but this is a line for you? Or your first time on the case?
If you're just making the best of it, then I'd guess that... when life give you Limmy's, you make Limmy-nade, right?"
Oblign stifles the laughter that would usually accompany his jokes, instead tightening his grip on the loaded energy pistol within the palm of his hands. He dreads this feeling. Unaware of his surroundings, the cool night air dulls either Stygian's ability to sense heat signatures, a comfort that they usually take for granted, which rather should be expected under these conditions.
Every Uetiko hunt thus far for the two has been like this. And it never gets any less tensing, stressful. Each situation is different, it seems, the creatures almost seem to have personalities, a murder-based sapience which is usually disregarded and thought of as fallacious in any of the early reports. They are just killers. With no motivation, little ability to strategize, yet efficient in their craft.
But both Eprist and Oblign knew that is just not true. They can strategize. Despite their usual tendency to mark their territory in the blood and entrails of their victims, they can work together. Simply toying with their targets, making every movement another advancement, almost as pieces on chess board. Primitive as they might be though, this is not any game of prey and predator. These corpse-like monsters can be ruthless, warlike.
So try as they might to wish it weren't so, whatever is out there now, the feeling creeps upon the two that the Uetikoes that Revver is looking for... have probably already found him. The only hope for them is if he can get away fast enough to bring them into the open field.

While examing the corpses, Revver thinks he hears a noise nearby.
Revver's body stiffens. His feels his body gently being tugged forward as his wheel attempts to rotate. He hears another more audible noise. It didn't sound like the croaking coming from the native Carnojips. It sounded more like a snort. Revver turns his head to the sound with a grimace on his face. He slowly wheels over to the source of the noise, thermal lance in hand.
As he gets closer he suddenly realizes he's not even wearing any armor! What in the world was he thinking? Revver takes a moment to pull out his armor from his backpack and puts it on.

73 looks out over a field of Gloobulbs with haunting, white eyes. In his hands, The struggling forms of two, strange rodents, squeal angrily. Their limbs flailing wildly in an attempt to escape.
73's helmet is held in his back arms. One of the creatures starts to squeal especially loud. With a deft movement, 73 silences the loud rodent. It's corpse hangs limply in his hand.
Lifting the dead, rat-like creature, 73 opens his mouth. His mouth appears as a fissure on his formless face, a crack in the earth filled with glowing magma. The second creature still struggles in his other hand. With a sickening crunch, 73 bites the rodent in half. The second creature stops pouring it's lungs out and becomes as still as a statue.
The crunching of the alien rodent's spine is heard and, with a pop, the skull breaks as well. Swallowing, 73 fits the back half in his mouth, and chews that as well. Disliking the taste, he spits it out. The entrails land on the sidewalk with a splat. Realizing it will be next, the second rat starts screaming again.
"Pestering, inferior lifeform"
Grabbing the second rat, 73 eats it While it still lives. It's life leaves it's body, while still being chewed.
After swallowing the last bit, licking his hands clean, and placing his helmet back on, 73 contacts Revver. Lieing, he says, "73 will arrive later than expected, continue hunting. Cause for delay irrelevant."

Sorry. Sports, Geometry, English papers.
"I am a trained assassin. I know how to hide my scent, and not be seen. With the common Grenebolym ways, we are hired. Quite a large sum for this. I cannot tell you what exactly for that is confidential. Don't we have a lot of folklore behind us?"

"I can tell from all the knowledge you just smacked down on me. Yep, I've just been enlightened, man. Folklore galore, Lemon-Fresh," a sarcastic Oblign answers with a whisper.
Joining in to ease her mind of the tensions, Eprist jokes onwards. "Oblign, if you intend on continually teasing and mocking Mr. Limmy, I'd begin to suspect you were attempting a courtship with said Grenebolym, hm?"
"Aw, well d'ast, you totally caught me. I've been here just dying for Assassin-senpai to notice me. And here I was planning to surprise him with a bouquet of arrows. There goes that plan," he retorts.

I cant resist my reply to that. Sorry Atrox! "Arrows would be utterly useless since a crossbow uses bolts."

Revver finishes putting on his armor and picks up the lance again. He jabs it into the foliage, relieved and also disappointed to see nothing was there. He must be hearing things, like this incessant pinging in his ea- oh wait, that's his helmet notifying him of an incoming transition: " 73 will arrive later than expected, continue hunting. Cause for delay irrelevant." Even with Revver's augmented speed, he barely had time to respond before 73 hung up.
Feeling slightly frustrated Revver sets off... ...and suddenly remembers the crumpled piece of paper that he noticed sticking out of the Pescusa's pocket. His interest piqued, he wheels himself around and goes back to the amphibian. He pulls out the paper and takes a look at it.

The paper is crumpled, but not horribly. The letters are unusually round and looped, owing to the Pescusa written language being composed of round figures. Since this tendency follows them onto other languages, it's a sort of visual accent. Still, it looks rather slowly written, but done with stress at the same time. The writer was likely quite emotional at the time.
I'm not sure if there's much time left for me. My name's Ovilipa Trachnus. Don't worry about contacting my family, cause I live alone, and thank God for that. I'm the one that owns the field my body's probably sitting and rotting in, cause that's where I see those things drag their victims. Uetikoes. I can feel them lurking out in the field, watching me. Can't go nowhere cause they just wait for me to come out, must think this is some stupid game. All I have's my window, and I never see them leave, but always see one of them getting at the edge of the field within range of the window with its victim, going back in. I know there's two, a Pescusa doesn't forget a face, and for the love of God I can't decide which one's creepier, but I know I'll have to. One of them's a bit bigger and nastier, walks on its legs, and the victims are always torn apart, more often than not barely alive. One time the sick thing looked at me just to see my reaction, and I swear it was smiling. The other's always on all fours, the victim's always dead, with just one quick wound somewhere on it. It always turns its head slightly to see if I'm here, and I can't tell if that one even has emotion.
With room out on the front, the message is continued on the back.
I'm holed up in my house. I knew something was up for a long time, but then they tried getting me while I was out working, had to run and leave my tractor behind. It's like I outran them, but they let me live so they could play, I KNOW they did. I've got enough food for, what, a couple weeks? But I know I can't force myself to live that long, and even if I could, they'd finish counting down and come. No way of contacting outside, nothing to keep my mind elsewhere. Just me sitting, hoping that when I do give up and leave that the quick one's the one that's on shift.
One final thing: The night before anything happened, I opened the door and barely saw some creepy statue standing a few yards out in the dark. All I remember is that it looked like a faceless humanoid (by faceless I mean there were bumps and pits where features should be but weren't) with a mouthed belly full of teeth, one arm reaching out for me. I didn't want nothing to do with it, so I shut the door, locked it, and hid. It wasn't there the next morning. No clue what it has to do with anything, but be warned.

... Which I, admittedly, haven't seen an episode of in my life. An Explanation: To be honest, Mr. Not Fredbear was shoehorned in there by yours truly because this creepypasta's been on my mind for a while. Not sure why, but what the father said chilled me to the bone. Still, with Thouartmore... 's "cutscenes" for 73's origins, alongside the relatively low amount of insight into the Uetikoes' potential, prompted me to add a new potential threat. Can't say much about their potential threat, but I have a few ideas... Just know that it doesn't bother knocking.

So... just to clarify, Ovilipa saw two Uetikoes, but there are threats that come out at night that AREN'T Uetikoes also, for a total of three enemies?
How many statues are there?

(I'm considering joining this, but I'm afraid of being really confused and lost, and I don't want to go back and read the whole RP. Could someone give me a small summary of events I should know about? Thanks.) (I've already got a creature in mind. I'll join the RP once I can draw it.) Sure thing, Narotiza! Welcome! So we began the game with my character, Revver the Cyclorotan, leaving the Spaceport and going to his temporary home, the Nova Hotel. He checks in, goes inside and hears about the Uetiko in Alligison Corp. The next morning, Revver went to the factory to kill it and ended up burning down the entire building, causing quite the spectacle which appeared on the news.
Later that day Revver decides he needs some new gear so he goes to Stripey's Hunting & Defense Store and purchases some supplies. As he's exiting the store, three new Uetiko hunters step onto the Spaceport: 73 the <unregistered species>, Limmy Yellowmun the Grenebolym, and Selekis Batassar the Yulander. Both 73 and Limmy made it out of the Spaceport okay, but it is assumed Selekis was taken in for questioning and arrested due to his unsatisfactory answers (he's no longer in the game).
Limmy goes to the Nova Hotel and checks in while Revver finishes his business at Stripey's and heads back to the hotel, speeding by 73 who happens to be running in the same direction. Limmy waits outside of Revver's door and the two of them meet, though not on completely friendly terms. Revver then looks up some possible Uetiko locations and discovers that there have been many deaths in an area of farmland situated in the southwest. He quickly goes to the elevator, Limmy close behind (though invisible). The two of them go inside and meet 73 who happened to be in the elevator. The trio talk and decide to team up to take down the Uetikoes in the fields.
While the elevator discussion is occurring, three more hunters, Oblign Nodem and Eprist Rilgemn the Stygian, and Bastan Odario the Caninae depart from the Spaceport and attempt to locate the Uetiko hunters. Both parties went to Stripey's to prepare before finding the other hunters and subsequently, the Uetikoes. Bastan arrived at Stripey's first but got lost and is assumed to be buried underneath a pile of goods at the moment (he's no longer in the game). Oblign and Eprist purchase their supplies later and hitch a cab to the fields.
Limmy and Revver depart to the fields while 73 goes to Stripey's to restock on supplies for the hunt. The pair arrive at the fields and meet Oblign and Eprist. We decide to join forces and our two teams of two became one team of four. 73 calls Revver to tell him that he is running late and that they should start the hunt without him.
This brings us to our current situation: It's now late at night - possibly almost midnight - and Limmy, Oblign, and Eprist are currently standing together in the fields waiting for Revver to return from his scouting trip, while 73 is also in a different section of the fields, despite having said he'd be late.
But I do think you should give the thread a read. It's pretty entertaining and full of puns. That and the fact that there's still a lot of info not covered in this summary. Also Thouartmore... it's your turn.

73 peers over the field, hoping to see his 'allies'. Nothing. Form wavering in the darkness, haunting eyes scanning for movement, he remained as still as stone. Despite the circumstances, the scene gave of a sense of calmness and serenity. A sudden blur of motion was all it took to break the calm, as 73 darted with soundless steps towards the fence He halts just in front of the fence. He looks through his messenger bag and takes out his holopad. A few brief selections, a light ping noise, and a pulsing beacon shows up on 73's HUD.
73 folds the holo-device back into the bag, grabs the modified grenade, and closes his bag. The air carries with it the scent of rot and a strange hum. Reaching towards his waist, 73 draws an unusual weapon from its sheath. The long, thin blade gave off a dim aura. It glided through the air, leaving a dim afterimage. He weaved the blade through the air, before deftly cutting through the fence in a vertical motion. Aside for the a strange ringing as it swept through the air, the blade made no sound Prying the fence open, 73 entered through the opening stealthily.
As soon as 73 reached the other side of the opening, he exited from his calm facade. Every muscle in his body tensed. Something is wrong. He drew a pistol.
Something is very wrong

Limmy takes out his crossbow and unloads it. Then after a while he reloads it. He checks his quiver to make sure all of his bolts are still good. Basically, preparing.
