Round 1 End of Devonic No ongoing events.
Hylomonous Rupturus (GabrielGG)
Carnivorous Prey - 5 Sharper Claws - 5
This strain of Hylomonous evolved 2 key components to become an apex predator. It developed longer, sharper and deadlier claws used both for attack and defense. In other news it also started devouring young amphibians that first come to land.
Description: A 22 cm lizard with sharp, bent claws on it's limbs extremities.
Status: Least Concern
Tyranolizard (zyad137)
Physical Enlargement - 1 Poisonous Saliva - 5
A recessive gene on this species caused it to shrink to about half its original size this makes it possible prey for bigger species, in happier news it also developed a toxin syntethized on its mouth, that keeps away (most) predators trying to harm it.
Description: A 10 cm lizard with wrinkles on its skin. It drools uncontrollably wherever it passes.
Status: Vulnerable
Hylomonous Terranus (serialkiller)
Improved jumping ability - 6 (SUPAH EVOLUTION!) Claws apt for climbing - 5
This strain has became a stealthy hider. Virtually impossible to catch, it has developed extremely strong muscles on the back limbs, allowing it to both run at extreme speeds and jump from tree to tree. To top it off it also developed ornated claws that crave into the rock and allow for quick impulses, making climbing mountains incredibly easy. This species oxygen consumption is hitting max and it can only adopt this behaviour for short periods of times.
Description: A 21 cm reptile with proportionally large back legs and ornate claws bent in the form of an inwards "L"
Status: Least Concern (thriving)
Hylomonous Burros (Stealth)
Thick claws for digging - 6 Burrow digging - 4 (nothing happens)
This strain developed strong but smooth claws, perfect for digging on soft ground. They usually hide under rocks for quick protection, but do not live in organized underground caves (yet). They are beginning to fail to compete with Hylonomous Terranus.
Description: A 20 cm brown reptile with visible wrinkles in its limbs. Smooth but thick claws are visible on its feet.
Status: Vulnerable
Hylomonous Camos (MingeyCratter)
Developed leg muscles - 3 Basic camouflage - 1
This strain has developed pigments that mesh with the enviroment around them. This has made it easier to compete with both the other strain's less developed eyes and the insects weak brain. It is now undetected in its natural habitat, but still stands out when moving.
Description: A 21.5 cm dark green reptile with brown stripes.
Status: Least Concern
Hylomonous Strongus (RoboTrannic)
Better jaw muscles - 2 Better back leg muscles - 5
This particular strain has evolved the bones of its mandible, allowing for bites on both predator or prey. The only problem is, this mandible is feeble and albeit pretty strong, will break easily, this species started swallowing without chewing to protect its precious jaw. In other news the back leg muscles of this species became stronger. This requires more oxygen, making the species run longer but for shorter periods of time.
Description: A 23 cm reptile with curved and bulky back legs.
Status: Vulnerable
Strutionum Lacerta (ostrich)
Faster running - 4 Less light required eyes - 5
This strain has evolved its sprinting techniques, with both limbs being drawn inwards for short jumps. This augmented it's speed but is also very oxygen consuming. On other news this species has developed a strange, keyhole shaped eye with a small bubble below the main eye, allowing for catching quick movements at night.
Description: A 19 cm green colored reptile with a strange, key hole shaped eye.
Status: Least Concern
Hylonomous Charles (blackink)
Nocturne Habits - 1 (oops!) Olfactory Development - 2
This species developed eyes that need a high input of light to perceive enviroment. Only in the brighter parts of the day can it hunt, leaving it blind and vulnerable at both early morning, twilight and night.
Description: A 20 cm reptile with small black dots for eyes.
Status: Vulnerable
Hylomonous Quanti (QuantumCrab)
Long and sticky tongue - 1 Physical enlargement - 1
This variation developed a short tongue that emits an displeasing smell to all nearby species, causing them to avoid it. In other news, it has almost doubled in size. The bad side is, it now needs more nutrients to maintain it.
Description: A bulky 43 cm reptile that emits a strange, unpleasant smell.
Status: Endangered
Well, remember next round you only get one vote! I will also consider drawing each one's species every 10 rounds.

hirohito , the votes don't quite match up. For example, you said my 4 vote does nothing but on the OP is saysnI get what I asked for. There are some others that are also, like this. Edit: Hmm, can't afford to lose out on prey. I think I'll vote for sharper teeth.

Your second vote is the so called "Odd Vote" which will only take effect in odd numbers. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Nature has blinded my species and I'm not gonna challenge her. Well then: Hylomonous Nocturna Evo: Greatly enhance Olfactory sense at the expense of sight.

Vote : bigger lungs (?) I hope this helps but I'm not a physiology expert so if anyone could tell me what else could improve my oxygen inhalation skills please help

Vote : bigger lungs (?) I hope this helps but I'm not a physiology expert so if anyone could tell me what else could improve my oxygen inhalation skills please help You can also ask for extra lungs, increased oxigen perfusion (more efficient), stronger respiratory muscles (which also make it look bulkier), enhanced oxigen use by muscles (same strenght with less oxigen), better oxygen transport in blood. Or you could go semi amphibious and develop skin respiration as support.

Mostly posting so that I might follow this along. Though I feel like asking, is there room for one more? If not, I don't mind observing.

Thanks ! I'll vote for increased oxigen perfusion Is it okay if the vote is bigger alveoli? They basically allow for the increased perfusion
