This is less of a current science thing and more of a nerd's questions about if something in a game is physically possible. So in Monster Hunter you, what else, monsters. But most if not all have very unique abilities(that are notably described as natural rather than magical) . I imagine early game monsters like the Great Jaggi (see below) could exist as they don't have any particularly outlandish abilities aside from calling smaller Jaggi to help them. But then you get the later game where giant wolves can conduct electricity (Aka the Zingore, see below), wyverns start launching fireballs (big shock) and dinosaurs have flammable blade-tails. So a major question (if there are any fellow Monster Hunter fans here) is, could any monsters from the series reasonably exist?

With the giant wolves conducting electricity: If eels can do it, wolves can do it. That's it. Wyverns with fireballs could be creatures spewing extremely hot air, which could be possible by a rather high (and probably impractical for enzyme production) body temperature. Flammable blade-tails could be something similar to bark as a tail, as bark is considerably tough while also flammable.
Not a monster hunter fan so I don't know any other questionable creatures.
Also, your great jaggi looks awfully like a spinosaurus-velociraptor crossbreed, and sounds like it behaves like it too.

How about a giant sand whale-dragon (Jhen Mohran) or a leviathan that can also conduct electricity underwater without shocking itself (Lagiacrus)?

The leviathan would, yet again, be similar to the electric eel, which the electric eel conducts electricity underwater without shocking itself. As for your sandwhaledragon thing, it would have a behavior of waiting underground most of the time for prey, while having an extremely sufficient lung capacity to suit this lifestyle, probably being to last hours without respiring. They look Belgiuming awesome!

Oh, christ. This may indeed take a while. I'll do a lot of thinking and typing then see if I can post it here.

I've only done the first and second generation because holy hell there is a lot
Explanations for Monster Hunter creatures that aren’t painfully obvious
Genpray
Problem-Paralysis upon bite. Explanation-Electrocytes within the teeth.
Cephalos
Problem-Under the sand most of the time. Explanation- Large lung capacity.
Kelbi
Problem-Horns that cure a lot of things. Explanation-Production of chemical and organic compounds within the horns themselves, presumably to help the Kelbi survive.
Mosswine
Problem-Moss on back. Explanation- A lot of waste tends to get on their back, resulting in moss growth.
Basarios
Problem 1-Ability to release sleeping/toxic gas. Explanation-Compound production in specialised organs. Problem 2-Fireballs. Explanation-Extreme temperature in a certain organ near the mouth.
Diablos
Same as Cephalos
Gravios
Problem-Ability to withstand magma. Explanation- There is none, it’s scientifically impossible for biological matter to withstand magma, and rock won’t do the job, either.
Rathalos
Problem-Toxic claws. Explanation- Thousands of tiny bee-like stingers that inject poison and stay in the body.
Yian Kut-ku
Problem-Flame sac. Explanation- extreme heat with liquid fuel.
Fatalis
Problem-Everything flame related. Explanation- General abundance of heat and fuel within the creature.
Kirin
Problem- Lightning. Explanation-the horn is a kind of conductor for the lightning.
Lao-Shan Lung
Problem-Literally growing by grabbing particles from the atmosphere. Explanation- N/A
Giaprey
Problem-Spitting ice. Explanation-Drinking water then subjecting it to a chillingly low temperature within the body.
Great Thunderbug
Literally scientifically impossible
Rajang
Problem-Shooting electricity. Explanation-A hunters organ at the back of its mouth which can eject high-speed electric charges.
Kushala Daora
Problem- Manipulating wind. Explanation- Powerful respiratory system
Teostra
Problem-Fire producing horns. Explanation-N/A
Yama Tsukami
Problem-Floating. Explanation-Gas lighter than air within the body

No problem, I was just curious. (still doesn't alleviate the pain of having to wait till 2018 for Monster Hunter World)
