"Depends. They probably have magic abracadabra, we'll have to rush. Maybe we both fire a missile, and then engage?"

"I never decided to become a wizard, I have always been one. My father and his father and his father and as far back as we can trace have all chosen to wield the magical force. It has always been my family's ethos that there is more to this world than what we can see with our eyes."

Time: Mid-Nighttime
Barak and Hinst attempt to find out more about the magic behind the ritual, but since Hinst doesn't use magic Barak is the one who does all the work. Barak identifies that the ritual is a strong Necromancy spell, known as Reanimate. They appear to be using blood as a conduit to reanimate the skeleton of Aden the Bannerking. To successfully reanimate him, the Necromancers must use very pure and fresh blood (which children can provide) and the Necromancers will finish chanting in a few minutes (2 turns) (20). Jinn in the meantime, doesn't see any traps slowly makes her way over the boy and grabs him to get him away from the Necromancers. While the boy gets a little startled when Jinn grabs him, he seems to think that he is safer in her hands and calms down. Stealthily makign her way back over, Jinn sets the boy down near the steps in front of herself, Barak and Hinst (16).
Meanwhile outside, Marilyn is surprised by Shinga's answer. She then asks him "What about the people you were with, the lady with the tattoo, the grumpy Dwarf and the Gnome with the funny hair? I don't really want to know about that other mage though, he scares me.".
Flare is still unconscious.
Flare has 2 Injury Points and will wake up in 1 turn on his own.

Like, they aren't makin' midnless milk-lovers, they're actually bringin' the guy back to this side. Like, with is soul and everythin'. Can't do it now, now the kid's gone. I vote to kill the emo's, now we still can. Who's with me?"

"They may be appear different to you, but they all have the same passion to bring about good in the world. That is why we are all here at the crypt. Their different personalities mean that we, as a group, can cover more angles and learn off one another. If we were all the same, we would never change."

Time: Mid-Nighttime
Turn Order: Barak Necromancers Jinn Hinst
Barak sneers at the thought of the ritual and releases a Magic Missile from his book and to his surprise, two come out of the book and slam into one of the ordinary necromancers, injuring him heavily but not killing him (20). As a result of Barak's assault, the necromancers notice that they no longer have the boy. The leader gives orders to the necromancers in a foreign language and to the group surprise, the necromancer lackeys take out ritual knifes and slit their throats, their blood spilling into the coffin. The leader then begins to quickly chant a spell, sounding a bit panicked. Jinn then steps in front of the boy and launches an arrow from her bow, the arrow whizzing through the air and scoring the leader right between the eyes. He lets out a faint gurgle and falls over (20). Hinst stands by as the necromancers were rather easily dealt with, probably due to the leader's foolish orders. The boy looks dumbstruck at the event he witnessed, but his face quickly changes to a look of relief.
Marilyn stares wide-eyed at Shinga, cracking a big grin and saying "I want to do good for other people too! Do you think I could maybe become an adventurer when I get older?".
Flare wakes up and finds that he is now alone in the cage room and he can feel a slight pain in his head.
Flare has two Injury Points.

Barak "Welp, that was slightly anti-climactic. Still, revenge taste's bittersweet. And boy, believe me, you don't wanna be an adventurer. I choice that life, and look where I'm at now. I'm stuck with a buncha weirdo's, and I have to constantly fight for my life. Although being a normal peasant also sucks. Because it's boring as Hell. In short, life sucks. Don't get your hope's up too much, kiddo."
Action: Look for any loot, or surviving skellies, or other things of interest.

Because Marilyn is outside with Shinga while you guys are deep in the crypt. And the boy is gagged so he can't speak. Or maybe Barak is just hearing things?
