MUAHAHAHAHAHA! My baby spreads to yet another forum! And another! For those wondering who I am and why I'm cackling maniacally, I happen to be sir Creator of Original Competition. And I findnit hilarious that it's breeding just as much as the creatures you play as. Original Competition: www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=125778.0, feel free to PM me-on-bay12 to confirm my identity. Also, PM me when there's less than eight people so I can wreak some havoc.

I want to go multicellular. Also may I request a +2 from someone? By the way, do we have any information on the planet above? Or will we find out when the first of us reaches land? can I split my +2 and give it to big and redwatt as a thank you to them Technically, you cannot split a +2, but since I'm writing the round right now and I didn't reply to your message, I'll let this be an exception. Also, you will find out how the world is when someone reaches land.

Round 5 ( Round 4; Round 6) Event: The sudden drop in free floating compounds freed up a lot of niches. As the organisms hurried to fill them, genetic diversity rose up. Most fit player and least fit player both get an extra vote, check your conservation stati (statuses?). PS. Sorry for no round yesterday, I was doing some coding for Thrive. stealthstylelQuorum Sensing: 2 = 2 | Opposite effect Description: This species has picked up a solitary lifestyle. Individuals release compounds that deter other members of their species. This trait is pretty much the opposite of sociality and henceforth shall be called the Shellfish Gene (Sorry, I had to). Although, the selfish gene is bad in some aspects—it is hard for one cell to kill something larger than itself—if this cell does manage to catch its prey, it doesn’t have to share its food. Past Adaptations: Flagellum Mitochondria (20% efficiency) Predatory Pilus Conservation Status: LC - most fit, make two votes bigyihsuanPhagocytosis: 2 + 1 = 3 |No effect Description: Over the millions of years this cell is becoming less and less abundant. Its food source is disappearing and this species has not yet found another one. Past Adaptations: Mitochondria Flagellum Conservation Status: CR – least adapted, make two votes (hopefully they will be phagocytosis and lysosomes, or you’ll go extinct) mitoboxMitochondria: 6 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 12 | Super Evolution Description: This species has not only gotten rid of its parasitic mitochondria, but it has also managed to form a symbiotic relationship with them. The benefit of these new mitochondria is that unlike those of other species they can function as both lysosomes that digest food and as mitochondria that immediately turn it into ATP. This has made this species incredible efficient. Past Adaptations: Vacuole Thermoplast Bad mitochondria Conservation Status: LC atroxMulticellular: 6 + 2 + 2 = 10 | Super Evolution Description: This species has managed to form both a binding protein that allows different cells to stick together and signal agents that tells the cells to stay that way. At the moment, this organism forms thin circular sheets on the bottom of the ocean floor and moves around using its cilia. Past Adaptations: Cilia Vacuoles Mitochondria Conservation Status: LC deandactylPhagocytosis: 5 + 2 = 7 | Better than expected Description: Over centuries of trial and error this species has found a way to engulf other cells, provided that they are small enough. Although this method might be beneficial in the long run, at the moment this species has no way of digesting its food and eventually the phagolysosomes clutter up causing this cell to self-destruct. Past Adaptations: Mitochondria Cillia Conservation Status: CR redwatt50Multicellular: 3 + 1 = 4 | Worse than expected Description: This species has stepped on the path of becoming a multicellular creature. It has developed binding proteins that allows other members of its species to stick together; however, at the moment these bonds are only semi-permanent and different cells still think only for themselves. Nonetheless, nothing has really changed since this species has always formed circular colonies on the sea floor (not being able to move and all). Past Adaptations: Chloroplast Mitochondria More Dense Conservation Status: VU (you might notice your status falling, this is because there is limited sun at the bottom of the sea) zer1000Lysosomes: 3 = 3 | No effect Description: This species has not really changed, but it is ver-ry close to extinction. It needs to develop both a way to ingest food and a way to digest it. Past Adaptations: Mitochondria Vacuoles Flagellum Conservation Status: CR – make two votes as well—I don’t want anyone going extinct so soon theredtardisLysosomes: 3 + 2 = 5 | As expected Description: This species has developed a digestive enzyme that it can pump into its phagolysosomes to break them up into amino acids and other beneficial compounds. Past Adaptations: Flagellum Mitochondria Phagocytosis Conservation Status: NT

I want to evolve pseudopods that help grab onto solid surfaces. The convection currents around a heat source are probably a bit hectic, so this would probably help quite a bit.
+2 to bigyihsuan.

Lysosomes next. Just realized I have no real way of digesting any cells I may or may not have been planning on eating this round. Requesting a +2 as well.

Chloroplasts, requesting +2 too. Will there be another game when this ends?

My cells reject each other? Great, I was going to ask for multicellularity. Can I still do that?
+2 to Deandactyl
I will make my second vote when I find out the answer to my question.

Lysosomes! +2 to zer1000 Wait, I'm CR, but I only get 1 vote, right? (Not complaining, I just wanna be sure)

I'll try to become less dense again. +2 to bigyihsuan. Can someone please +2 me? EDIT: +2 to Atrox instead.

Alright, I think I got this figured out.
The fellers askin' fer +2's include atrox, the redtardis, and redwatt50. Only redwatt50 has actually +2'd another person this round. Therefore, atrox and redwatt50 should +2 each other.
That would leave redwatt50 with no +2, but zer1000 +2ing him should restore balance or whatever.
EDIT: Aaand my plan went to Belgium.

Ok, I'm not going to be on here for much longer tonight so I'm just going to say mine and hope their ok. I'm want to be multicellular and have some sort of muscle cells so I can still move.
Edit: Don't forget my +2 to Deandactyl

okay, so, since I'm about to die soon, I'll go with phagocytosis and lysosomes, since you aren't being subtle right now. +2 to redwatt50, so he is at least guaranteed to get the adaptation. And hopefully are planet will still have several species by the end of this round. May the gods of dice be in our favor.

Chloroplasts, requesting +2 too. Will there be another game when this ends? I will give you a +2 if you give me a +2? Actually... I wanna give zer1000 a fighting chance. Redwatt, zer's given you a +2 You've given me a +2 I would like to give zer1000 a +2. Looks like your plan didn't go to Belgium after all, Mitobox
