Immortal_Dragon is that symbol on your profile pic the symbol of your religion ? I'd like to adapt your religion later and include it into my flag It's the symbol of the religion he was planning to make for the Official game. Not sure if he's going to use it for something else.

serialkiller🌴 It can be, it was originally based off of something from the official civ game, but no reason it can't be the symbol of Cantism now.

That would be cool , I really like that symbol and I am actually too lazy to form a full religion myself (just some myths like that "door to the other side " my people found . )

Awesome map ! But considering that I've just met the Kore Republic , does that mean I've missed two civilisations on my way ?

Awesome map ! But considering that I've just met the Kore Republic , does that mean I've missed two civilisations on my way ? Yes, technically the Hakshah began their exploration expeditions after you did yours, simple timing made them miss (plus you said the priority was the kore so I was fine with that). Also technically both the pyrean and Hakshah are further north but the map is fine. Plus it does not do justice to the actual distances between everthing. Remeber the map is made by the Limu, so there is some distortion. The Limu kinda know what the locations are like cause I decided you all really do if you read others posts, so yeah

Great work Limey, but there's one problem I see. I migrated north. Is the left side of the map supposed to be north?
EDIT: Upon further inspection, it seems that it is, so never mind.

If that's the case, then shouldn't my people be below yours if I migrated northwest? I'll have to go check my migration vote again.
EDIT: Nope, it was northeast.

OK Challenge for players while we wait on round 8:
Tell me what you think you're people look and speak like, and how you think they would appear to outsiders

I think my people would probably look like Italians, except a bit darker, and they have a complex language, with words for various phrases, as well as words for the council positions. Their language would mostly consist of long sounds like 'uh', 'mm', and they also use sounds like 't' or 'g' quickly. An example of a phrase is "Muh-um tuhl et", and to say it, just say it like it's spelled, with most of the sounds being stretched out except for 'et'. Muh-um would mean 'Hello stranger' in English, and tuhl would mean 'Please'. Et would mean 'Come inside', but it's said quickly due to a bad habit of many Korens from an early age (Probably because we don't have a proper education system). The reason why words like that are quick is because the quickness of those words help a lot when there are emergencies. An example would be the word 'T', which stands for "Someone is injured!".
I think they would appear very interesting, or even crazy because of their language. To outsiders, they would first hear long, stretched sounds, and then very fast sounds, as if the person was very indecisive. However, outsiders might also think that Korens are a very advanced people even though they didn't even discover metalworking yet. It all would just depend on what the outsiders are thinking.

I think my guys look long, and somewhat dark. usually with dark eyes. Perhaps their skin is a bit thicker, becasue of all the insects (probably a bit far-fetched though).
As for language, I think it has a lot of hard sounds (mainly 'k', and 'g'), also a lot of 'w''s and and S sounds. it also happens a lot that a vowel is pronounced two time's. Mostly of the time the language is reletivly slow, with all sounds beeing pronounced at all time's. It also uses cases (not sure if that's the right word), similar to German and Latin. Whilst you'd expect this'd make the language shorter, this isn't the case for the higher classes. They like to sound more cryptic and poetic. For an example, in staid of just saying 'kwzeër' (house), they'd say stuff like 'Krawe zakuülem' (construct of hospitality). This makes the language rather short for common folk, but extremely long for the higher folk.
Also, because I felt like it, I've though up an origin for the word 'Orzal'. It come's from the words 'oör' (holy, chosen, or rightfull), and 'zaäl' (people, nation, empire).

I always imagined that the language of my people is a mixture of mostly the french and Arabic language with a few influences of Italian and German . They look like a mixture of Palestinian people and Berbers (very light skin color but far from being white ). An important change of the language is that all words describing something unknown or alien , like "fremtranger " or "ajnabiero" (both meaning stranger ) have a very negative connotation after the big wave of xenophobia . Edit : the word kometenvolk comes from the words Komet (comet) and Volk (people). It is said that the Kometenvolk followed a strange object on the sky that lead them to the place they now call home.

The Hakshah would probably be heavy of brow, the bridge of the nose very prominent while the nostrils are small. Eyes tend to be on the slightly larger side than average, though shadowed by their brow. Hair is often worn long, particularly by those who create the tribe's art and music, and leans towards the darker shades. Skin also tends to be dark red to burnt orange though with the rare purple thrown in, while eyes tend to be yellow or purple with grey/white eyes being rarer than the average for the species as a whole.
As for how the Hakshah language sounds like, I feel that consonant sounds would be emphasized, particularly 'k' and 't' sounds. Long vowel sounds are rare, with 'ah' and 'eh' sounds for 'a' and 'e' are more common, 'oh' however is more common than other long vowels. Names tend to have a hard consonant sound at the end, or end on an 'oh' or 'ah.' Lots of words pertaining to the here and now, perhaps even with a quick cadence or rhythm to it.
